Heyas

I recently bought the Neverwinter Nights Complete Edition and to my dismay I found out that it doesn't  contain the advertised premium modules. I bought this collection in the EU and am nay sure at whom I shall fire my rockets of nerdrage. The box says the compilation was published through Atari S.A.S Lyon France and that the Koch Media GmbH is the distributer.

I am 99 percent sure that the files of Kingmaker and Mysteries of Westgate are not on one of the three dvds since I had a look at the wxs of Neverwinter.msi (dark -o e:\\neverwinter.wxs Neverwinter.msi) after I couldn't find them ingame/infolder:
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\GnuWin32\\bin>grep -i westgate e:\\neverwinter.wxs

Are there any known legal patches or who should I contact for the matter?

And on a general sidenote: It is annoying when publishers/rightholders/distributers bring out compilations of real classics and then FAIL because they did not compile them carefully. This is the second time I bought an epic RPG collection and unnecessarily got disappointed *winks at Jowood while thinking of Realms of Arkania 1-3*.

Did you try installing the game? Because heck would have been raised if they'd left these out in general. And they are listed on this UK site for instance. http://www.gamersgat...nights-complete

I had the collection installed twice already before I was using these tools to check if the files are even on DVD: http://wix.codeplex....ases/view/75656

I bought the collection in germany and know for a fact there was a delay between the release in the US and at least germany. It came out not too long ago maybe a month or two here in germany and I believe half a year ago in the US?

Also on amazon.de there are two people stating they have the same issue. It's really sad because I bought this compilation only to have access to the premium modules. I do own three copies of NWN with all addons and two copies o NWN2 with all addons...Well I guess thats four and three times now

I would talk with the company that sold you the product then. EU has really strong consumer protection laws.

Okay I guess I write Koch Media at first then I dislike the thought of a refund I'd much prefer to gain access to the premium modules!

Well, once you have the refund, you can buy from elsewhere. I can't believe this happened with all their copies.

What I find odd is you are right that there are not many folks reporting this issue maybe there are some prints gone wrong and the rest is okay. I gonna wait until I get a reply from support of the distributer (Koch) to see what they have to say.

Edit:
Will post in here again when I have answer from Koch - the mail is out and written in a polite manner.

I am currently using Win7 (64bit) and have quite a few programs from Unix/Linux installed. Have a look here if you are intrigued: http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/

Its really useful to be able to use tools from a system which one already knows ;) I love awk, grep, sed, wget and others I even use them on AmigaOS3.9 ;)

If you look on the Ossian site, they say that MOW is not being sold in Europe any longer.
