So, I know that she can be kept alive, but I've done both conversations with that and never gotten the option to give her Alliance resources (like I heard you had to to keep her alive)

I think it has to do with having her loyalty in ME2. I remember reading that somewhere

complete her loyalty mission in me2, talk to her 3 times, once early on, 2nd in the spectre office, 3rd in an apartment, all on the citadel, that'll do it.

When my paragon meter is full, she dies.

When my renegade meter is full, she lives.

Loyalty in me2, talk about kai leng with hackett/anderson, not changing LI from miranda to ashley (for example) and let her have the alliance info at some point she wants it. Atleast those. Lets just add that doing the loyalty mission in me2 isnt enough, since you need to at some point either chooce jack or miranda (when they argue) or use paragon/renegade if you want to keep loyalty of both.

If you romanced her in ME2 DO NOT BREAK UP with her or she will definitely die, if you want to romance someone else commit to them before meeting with her in the apartment and that will keep her alive and no one will even mention that relationship.

If not romanced you have to get her loyalty in ME2 and meet her all 3 time Docking bay, SPECTRE office and Apartment

You need to take the paragon/renegade conversations choices as well as completing the other requirements iirc.

So... just go talk to her everytime she asks you and give her alliance funds. That's what I did

She dies if you refuse to give her Alliance funds and or warn her about Kai Leng. Her loyalty in Mass Effect 2 is also needed.

Just like in ME2 if you want to keep the crew members alive that were captured by the Collectors. You need to go straight to Horizon after Thessia, no side missions. Immediately start the Horizon mission after Thessia. The longer you wait, the more likely Miranda will be attacked by Kai Leng and die. Also, make sure you do talk to her each time she emails you and give her the intel from the Spectre Office. She should be fine after doing all this.

Loyalty mission in 2 complete. Warn her about Kai Lang in 3 the 2nd or third time you talk. Also if you dismiss her and tell her you're too busy she seems to die as well (mostly due to that path you don't warn her)

Have her loyalty in ME2 and talk to her every time, give her the resources she wants and tell her about Kai Leng.

That's what I did anyway and she lived.

I did all of the above but i broke up with her. I think that's why she died in mine.

Suspected conditions for Miranda's survival:

(1) She must be loyal from ME2
(2) You must meet her on the Citadel after Palaven.
(3) If you romanced her in ME2, you must not break up with her. Unromanced Miranda is OK.
(4) You must speak with her in the Spectre office after the Citadel coup. Not sure if there are conditions where Shepard skips the warning about Kai Leng. The warning is prerequisite for her survival.
(5) You must meet her on the Citadel before starting Sanctuary and give her access to Alliance resources
(6) You must have enough reputation to use the persuasion options in the encounter with Mr.Lawson OR use the Renegade interrupt.

I don't know if there is a mission limit between Thessia and Horizon, but you can do any side missions that come up after Thessia before Horizon without any negative effect.

Only any side mission but not also DLC?

 

I know it's old topic and old game but from time to time I still like to play it.

So yesterday I got to Horizon and Miranda died...first time for me and I played ME3 like for million time.

I did everything as I suppose to and yet, she died.

• she was loyal, didn't romanced with her
• met her first time in the Citadel
• warned her about Kai leng
• help her in apartment
• had enough reputation for her father to let go Oriana

but after she threw him off she died

 

I play one side mission and Omega DLC after Thessia so I'm thinking there is a time limit between Thessia and Horizon for her to keep her alive.

Anyone read there is time limit?
