Conrad Verner.

No, just kidding. It's Mordin. Someone else might have gotten it wrong.

Hard to say.

Tali does win "most absurd" death.

I dunno, since I heard Conrad Verner can actually die in his scene, I'd say he takes the biscuit. I didn't even know what the hell was happening in that scene until that girl from Chora's Den chipped in.

But then, he's not a squad member.

I never saw Mordin Singing just before the explosion (which he does if you don't take the Paragon Interrupt), could someone point me to where I could see it, please?

All of them.
I have seen all the death's and while in the end only Mordin, Legion and Thane ended up dying on my game I will say I found all of the characters deaths to be heartbreaking.
I had become so attached to each character that I almost teared up when I saw each of them die, and I was thoroughly glad to get my revenge for Thane.

Grunt can die in ME3 if he survives ME2 without loyalty.

To answer the OP, i'd say Mordin's was the most heroic death. He went out with a bang, literally. I'd say Thane's was a bit heroic as well, if not slightly absurd.

Tali's death was by no means heroic, it was simply tragic. Very tragic.

Mordin. To anyone who says ''not Mordin'' I would be inclined to think you are part cloca. *cough* joking not a direct attack against anyone, refering to the STG mission. Shortly follwed by Grunt...despite the factr I have never had him die...to sad... then Legion if he asks the question.

Mordin, no question.

Legion's was well done too, except for there is apparently no copy&paste in the future.

Most heroic is easily Mordin, though Grunt was the only one who made me go "nooooo", even though he walked out of the cave hungry 20 seconds later.

Mordin saved an entire species with a clear conscious. Legion turned into Robo-Jesus. Thane went out a hero instead of simply wasting away. Looking at them in perspective, I wasn't particularly saddened by any of them.

I think I had the strongest reaction to Grunt because he was doing it for Shepard, not a higher cause or for his own redemption.

Tough to say.....I'm torn between Mordin and Thane. Although, I did tear up when they both did die. Each of them had their death be memorable and heroic and it's hard for me to choose. Legion' s was very important and it was a nice touch how he referred to himself as an individual.

Never had Grunt die; I thought he DID die....but it was nice to see him emerge from that opening.

Mordin's had the most closure to his personal story arc, at least if you chose not to sabotage the cure. (Am I the only one who hated Dalatrass Linron the instant she opened her mouth?)

Although I have to say I really wish Legion didn't have to die, even if you manage to save both the Geth and Quarians at large. I liked the guy.  Thane's death was sad, but I never got to attached to him as a character for some reason.

EDIT:  LOL Robo-Jesus.  That's an oddly accurate description of Legion now.  Makes me feel better, thanks.

grunt can die???? wow never knew that i thought he got out of the caves regardless which i thought was a lil stupid since that whole scene was setup for him to die. mordin def had the most heroic followed by legion, followed by thane, then miranda for me in my first playthrough. i was shocked when she died :(

As far as I know, Grunt only dies if he is not loyal and you opt to save the Rachni Queen.  It's rather simple to keep him alive, considering the hoops you have to jump through for certain others.  *cough*Miranda*cough*Kelly*cough*

I'd say Mordin.

Maybe Legion, but most of the other deaths were lame.

Squadmate, huh? If you are meaning the ones actually on my squad during ME3, then I'd have to say Kaidan. He finally grew a set and stood up to my Shep because he believed he was doing the right thing and I can't fault anyone for standing up for what they believe. What better way to go out than to have Shep take you out?

Runner Up: Liara, you were with my Shep until the end and your payment was to be laying in dirt blasted by Harbinger.

Former Squadmates....
Mordin, yeah you sacrificed yourself and stood up for what you believed in. I admire that.
Legion: You will be missed, never thought I'd miss a Geth but you sacrificed yourself for the betterment of your kind.
And Thane, well you were my Shep's LI and the only person she really loved more than herself. Had you not been dying from a stab wound and Kepral's, I would have whipped my shoe off and beat you over the head with it. WTF were you doing? If you are allowed a do over, try securing the safety of your son first instead of worrying about a salarian councilor or Shep, I had 2 armed people with me. I had it under control. Heroic? No, Suicidal is more like it.

Crew Members: Joker....yes, you Joker. Shep loved you like a little brother and trolled you for three games. I encouraged you and EDI knowing she would crush you. In the end, you decided to troll Shep and leave her behind. Too bad for you, my EMS was real low and you perished. Who's the troll now? You will be missed, FL Moreau.

I would have to say for me: Legion. Only because I care about the Geth so much.

But with no personal bias: Mordin by a long shot. No need to really explain how heroic either of their deaths were.
