Of course they exist, that's like saying "are there english people who aren't Christian?" There always will be multiple parts to any area, in this case: Male and Female, in other cases, (absolutely no offence intended) black and white, american and british, the list is endless. One kind of person isn;t the only kind of person to enjoy a certain thing. I'm british ,and I like pies, but that doesn't mean that there isn't an american or a woman out there who doesn't like pies.

If something is open to all people, you can expect at least some of every kind people to go to it. Frankly, I wouldn't have it any other way. Even if the internet is a harsh, racist, sexist and anti-religion object used by many so selfish people, it would be a worse place if not for the diversity of race, gender, and religion, Diveristy is the magic of life, and it is wonderful to see that many different people have different ways of looking at things. Imagine if you had a black shadow on a canvas, you could ask a thousand people and I can pretty much garuntee that (if it is not completely obvious) there will be at least 20 different answers. Mainly, people like me (yes, I am guilty) treat gamers of different religion, race or gender differently, but not all of us are treating them differently out of prejudice. I myself treat people with of different gender or race, or religion differently out of the worry of somehow upsetting them, which I tend to do a lot. I don't do it out of hate, rather the opposite. I don't expect someone to run along and pass me their address, I just expect to be treated nicely in return.

And now I put money on it that out of all the people looking at this post of mine, there will be a lot of different opinions about it. THAT, is why I love the internet. Because looking at things differently is the start of progress.

You share the same perspective as me. ^^
Hurray!
(Grunt bday party hurray!)

I've been a "gamer girl" since I was 4 years old. I'm quite an obsessive console RPG player. I don't go too much into other types of games though. I tend to get into the story of a game more than anything.

I don't have any friends male or female who play games, so its not something I talk about in real life.It is something I hide though since I have gotten flack for it in the past. I spent most of my teen years in front of my PlayStation 2 playing and replaying obscure JRPG's. My mother didn't like this and told me I needed to grow up. She said doing things like that are OK for "12 year old boys", but girls need to be more mature.

I sometimes feel a little weird going into gamestop. There are mostly guys in there and I am shy and I'm shy around men, so I usually buy online.... Its like I'm "in the closet" about this. :/ However, I just bought 2 Mass Effect t-shirts with Garrus and Liara on them, so I'm being more open about it haha.

This is probably just my own hangups though. From what I can tell, theses forums prove that there are tons of girl gamers out there, its just that they tend to not be as vocal about it.

My brother actually got me into gaming. The first game I ever played was a Mario Kart game. Mario Kart 64 I believe. Then he started to introduce me to other games besides Mario (I still have them old games burried in my gaming section of my closet xD)
I played the game Quest on the 64, which was an RPG. Fell in LOVE in that game, even though I got my ass handed over to me by level 2 rabbits.

When I started dating in school I would hide my stuff in my closet, cause you know.. self consiousness FTW. xD.
I figured if a boy seen anything that resembled to games they would be like "NUUUUUURRRRRRD."
I usually only talk about my gaming to my brother whos a huge gamer like myself. And..thats it. I will try and talk about it with my friend but she doesn't play video games so its like talking to a brick wall.

I agree with you, its kinda weird going into gamestop and the guys kinda look at you like.. ""
Its really awkward when there is a hot guy in there and its like "FUUUUU!" xD
Lucky you..you get to go online while I'm forced to go to a mall where theres A WHOLE LOAD OF GUYS IN GAMESTOP.. :bandit:
As on Jeff Dunhams show , his puppet Walter would say "Get your sh*t and get out." EXACTLY what I do.

Yeah there are probably alot of girl gamers on here, but I won't message everyone on here going
"Are you a female?"
:lol::lol:
I also have the Garrus T-Shirt and his action figures on my nightstand. Over the years I'm not to vocal about it, but I don't mind talking about it anymore. ^_^

I treat dumb "cute" girls/womans/creatures/whatever like they are not exisitng.
Not even bothering to date them, do the thing, and then brake up.

So why should I care about some "cute" girls liking it on YT?
Who listens to them anyway?

At the risk of looking obnoxious, I don't. There's a limit to being "cute" and then it depends on what you call cute.

A female who plays video games and talks about it on youtube shouldn't be called "cute" because it's belittling.

Why am I still posting in this thread... <_<

Why am I still posting in this thread... <_<

Because this thread is full of luvz<3

Doubt that. Also let's be honest: I automatically phased out of what you and Garrus Callibrations were telling each other with your extended quoteceptions.

Since you two were being kinda girly I assumed it wasn't important :P

I know right.

On one of my polls. I believe it's the poll titled "THIS IS S**T!!!"
Is a comment saying "Just woke up to this poll. Keep up the good work" XD

That's my job. :)
