Yeah, this is kind of hilarious. This thread skyrocketed to 4 pages infinitely faster than in-depth game conversations do.

This actually got me thinking for a bit, and I reached a conclusion, I have never met a girl who acknowledged that she was a gamer. Now that is scary, I mean, it is not like I am super charming (never felt the need to pair up with someone, since I never met anyone that shared an interest with me) but still I talk to girls on a somewhat regular basis, and while a few play games it is usually flash games or the like.
I on the other hand play a lot of ME, I also play other games (mainly RPG) I am an 18 1/2 years old, I attend upper secondary school, with focus on english and social studies. I am an amateur YA writer in my spare time(never had anythingg published nor did I try to get anything published)

Hmm, my "why do you hate Liara" thread skyrocketed faster. I have a more academic and humorisic curiosity than anything. My profession is tech, I graduated as an Electrical Engineer. There were hardly any girls in those classrooms, I don't know if they played games, although I was too busy to really get to know any of them, girls or guys.   Amazingly, although there were a few girls in my Engineering classrooms, as soon as I hit the job market girls totally disappeared. I work in military applications, but still, none to be found.

Oh, and I'm a comic artist by profession, too! That's another field that's traditionally been male-dominated with a stigma against women, so it's fun as well.

Okay, the gaming comuity is matority guys, yes, but there are a good bit of girl gamers as well. I only named a few of my games. Just to top few. Been playing video games since the Atari to the NES to the Dream Cast so on and so forth. Still have two n64s and a gamecube. Currently use and own a 360 slim, PS3, Wii, 3D DS, And Alienware laptop. Totally nerd! Lol!
Even made a custom made Legion Tee shirt from costumink.com
Own a Fox Hound Tee (and freaking where that **** sooo much along with my N7 shirt.)
I really didn't feel like typing out ALL the games I've played. Don't have the memory for that. XDD
PS: Perfect Dark is my favorite FPS of ALL time. Mawahahaahahahaha

Yeah, Those were just my xbox games. If I named others(SNES, N64, Gamecube, PS1,2,3, Xbox,360,Slim Wii, DS, DSi, DS lite, Gameboy Colour, Advanced. Etc. Etc.) I'd run out of type, Thankfully me and my siblings learned to share them all. lmao. I'm such a nerd. xD Aww yeah, got an N7 hoodie.
And yes! We need more girls playing video games, Too many of my friends are guys. lol
