I think that's a load of crap. If you play Angry Birds on your phone while you wait for the bus, you're not a gamer. If you play some Tetris while you're babysitting your sister, you're not a gamer. If you played Rockband with your friends for your birthday, you're not a gamer.

You're not a gamer, because you've picked up a controller. You're a gamer when you've devoted time to it.

So, those who've devoted their time to completing hundreds of levels on Angry Birds or whatever they decide to play, they aren't worthy of being labeled as a gamer, like you and me just because they don't play on a console?

So what point are you trying to prove there exactly? You just confirmed what I said. You're not a gamer, unless you've devoted time to it.

No, I didn't "confirm" any of your wild imaginings.
I questioned your ridiculous beliefs. Gamers are gamers. What they decide to play does not matter.
Whether you like it or not, casual gaming is, in fact, gaming.

It's not about gender, it's about how much you work at it. Women have to work harder at it, but that doesn't mean they're inferior.

I'd have to argue that it is about gender. Men can get bigger and stronger than a woman can ever possibly get. Hence, inferior.  Women don't have the hormonal support to gain muscle mass like men.

They'd have to work harder, but yes, they could get just as big as a man.

Unnaturally, sure.

Again, you proved my point.

They CAN.

There are still levels on which you game. A casual gamer is someone who doesn't game as much as a more serious gamer. That doesn't make a serious gamer better, but they certainly play more, and don't fit in the same group as a casual gamer.

But they're all gamers. Skill level is irrelevant. A person who enjoys games is a gamer. Period.

I see a gamer as someone who play as a hobby and has for a long time in their life they love to play and have played a variety of genres of game

Well, at some point I think we need to draw a clear line between a "leisure gamer" and a "serious gamer".

Still not sure you exist. Haven't met anyone like you in RL, LOL. I've met, not only met, but had deep conversations and have been taught by string theorists, scientists who build quantum computers and superconducting computers. I'll say most people think of scientists as being fantasy people they see only in movies and games, usually with evil plots to take over the world. I've met them, worked with them, and aspire to be one myself one day.

Unnaturally normaly means and ends bad.

I could be the biggest buff in the world with a few drugs, side effect, my balls fall off. Hell I can cut my arm off if I want replace it with a chainsaw. But I like having an arm to grab **** with. Those bodybuilder women your trying to point out, well strictly speaking on a biological and hormonal level,

Lets just say Sam, is closer to being called Sam, and doesn't need to tell you its short for Samantha. But yeah lets all just do what we want ignore basic realities and facts and damn the human race down a nasty path of (self inflicted) mutations.

I've known several women that can not only kick my ass 3 ways from Sunday, but also can kick most guys asses that I know. It's not the average, but I wouldn't say it's uncommon. Just because a man is usually stronger than women on average doesn't mean a women couldn't easily make herself stronger than the average man.

Yeah they can. There are some guys that are unusually weak. It's not unnatural, they just didn't devote any time to pumping iron. There are some girls that are unusually strong. Nothing unnatural, they just devoted time to pumping iron, or they work manual labor more, whatever the case may be. Some might be larger than normal. My stepbrother never works out, but he's just so big he kicks nearly anyone's but in a fight.
