At the onset of ME1.... the song of discovery.
At the start before Lazarus in ME2 then after Lazarus Project ME2.
At the start of ME3 ....... AFTER the ME3 conclusion. (IT ..... it is a start but in the wrong direction I think.... maybe that concluding song gives my insight as to Shepards' fate).

When I was zerg rushing to the beam in one of my playtroughs my media player playlist started to play Sovngarde Chant (from Skyrim final battle... I guess most people already know where it's from). Damn, that was epic, that song is perfect to settle ultimate battles/moments, and is now my Shepard's theme of choice.
