I know what you mean, I actually get annoyed sometimes at the people that act tlike the ending is the only thing wrong with the game. I think a good ending will go a long way towards fixing the game, but to bring it on par with Bioware's past games it needs a lot more then that.
Yes, I agree. (and the last thing you said, about fixing the ending, may at least give some satisfactory in playing the two games before ME3) :-D
I do, however, believe the ending has been the "thing", since that is our last memory of the game - which is natural- even though to me, I do not even come to a point as to call it an ending (as you all can see above).
And then people started to realise many other things as well, which is good. :-)
I do, like you do, wish there were more people participating in
e.g. a thread like this one (click).
The multiplayer/shooting-game, which ME3 obviously is, is not for me (nor for many others --- and I've seen a few multiplayers that aren't very pleased, due to its repetetiveness. When I look at it on youtube, I feel the Arena in Fable II would give me more - and it doesn't require Multiplayer(!) - but that's my personal feeling) ;-)
From what I've been reading, there are so many who haven't even replayed the game, which could also be a reason (for "just" remembering the "ending" -- I'm not trying to act wise or anything, just thinking out loud here, so you all know).
And then there are others who enjoyed the "ending" which, of course, is good for them. :-)
