Welp, this is by far the most mature idea that's arisen from this ugly business. Not a silly boycott, not another rabid letter of hate, but something that demonstrates to get the point across without sacrificing civility.

I don't support the Retake thing, but I do support getting some quality in the Extended Cut DLC. I approve.

The track the data, so someone can get to it.  Will it help?  I don't know but it's worth a shot to show support for Mass Effect.

Quick question: for how long should I play ME3 on Saturday? This campaign has my full support and I'll tweet and play and quit, but y'know... Guild Wars 2 BWE is this weekend. :S So, is playing for an hour and tweeting it on 28th enough?

I apologize for the Gawker network link: I know that their terrible website design causes many people to bleed from various connective tissues upon clicking. But they had the "good" pictures.

Reasoning: This event is being supported and promoted primarily, looking at the posters in this thread, by the people who have already sworn off the game in protest, or claim to have done so. You can't boycott something you weren't already buying.

*Note: here, "expert" is used in the Internet connotation, here meaning "random dude on the Internet talking out of his cloaca.

Probably not, but it might, and I guarantee sitting on our butts doing nothing will acomplish nothing.  Bioware and EA may, hell, probably, will ignore this, but it's worth a shot.

More than likely we'll get the "Animal House" ending no matter what, but it's better to try and fail than just do nothing.
