This means nothing. You have no goal, no meaning, and no purpose. Just seems like a random thing a bunch of bored people are doing. None of it matters anyway. The "new" ending is not new at all. They are not changing a damn thing. They are "clarifying" what they already did.

If you honestly believe we have no goal, meaning or purpose you didn't read any of the OP, so why should we care what you think.

The OP was a bunch of nonsense. They don't care who turns on or off their game. They have a lot of games out there. If you honestly think your plan will do anything at all, you're delusional.

No we don't care who takes part, we want anyone and everyone who feels the same way we do to know that we are trying to do something, but it's up to each person if they want to be a part of this or not. Your right this might not accomplish anything, but how hard is it to sit down play 20 or 30 mins. of the game and then turn it off for the rest of the weekend?

I sold off my ME games. After the awful experience of ME3.. I will never touch an ME or bioware game again.

To be honest I felt like throwing every Bioware game I own out the window when I finished the game, but I've been a fan of Bioware for so long that I feel like I have to give them a chance to fix this before I say I done and won't play their games ever again.

Don't decide on weather or not to join us based on what Vasparian says, he seems to think it's a bad idea and waste of time.

Yes Sorry I edited that post and completely changed it upon relising the mistake I made and IT WAS A BIG ONE, like I said, I've been working all night, up for more than 24 hours. If you could edit your post so my stupid quote don't show giving the downer more fuel to a troll fire? Thank you and I am SO SORRY for the BIG mistake on my part.

I don't think he was a troll.  Trolls are normally not people you can talk to and and have a real conversation with.  I think he was just being a smart ass when he replied to you.

For any 360 users whose game was rendered not playable by the patch, we did determine that the demo works. I'll have to find something else to do Sunday. Haven't played ME3 since the patch broke my game, but I have been playing Kingdoms of Amalur and SWTOR and I won't sign into ANY EA/Bioware games Sunday. Maybe I'll actually go outside? :)

I never played Dragon Age 2, didn't like the demo so I never bought it, so ME3 is the first bad Bioware game I've bought.

Thank you for the info. :-)
I wasn't aware of that non-playable patch. :pinched: Hmm.. I guess I'll have to go with the Demo, too then.

(Dang! I had this for excuse to play renegade -- I was going to start today, from ME1, and have everyone killed :o
I need to work on being a renegade, as I can hardly ever play bad/evil in any game. LOL)

edit: Oh, OK I'll try it first. Didn't read correct the first time - it might work then. :-)

This isn't going to make them change anything. If they haven't gotten the clue by now they never will. Of course, their hands are tied by a big company called EA. Nice dream though.

There is still hope, so please, take part in this.

EA will also see the spike and sudden drop in the amount of users playing the game over the weekend.

We aren't doing this because we want a tangible, gauranteed result. We're doing this as a reminder that the DLC needs more than just Clarity in order to save the game/series and that they're at risk of losing a lot of loyal customers.

It does not seem to affect everyone, but I've not been able to load the game and be online at the same time since.  There is a thread on this forum under XBOX 360 Tech Support section.  At any rate, Turn it ON / Turn it OFF and continue to Hold The Line!

And I find Renegade to not necessarily be evil or bad, but just being a jerk.  I too find it difficult!  I mean the universe doesn't need any more jerks, even if only on my console!

My PERSONAL text I used to contact media (feel free to use, large part is written off of the FB page), everyone can come up with his/her own, just felt some might find it easier to copypasta this:

Dear, Sir/Madam,

on Saturday, April 28th & 29th, Mass Effect 3 players from all over the world that aren't satisfied with the ending come together to demonstrate their passion about the game and the hope that their concerns are dealt with properly by BioWare and EA.

From the description of the Facebookgroup "Turn on/off BioWare":

"We propose giving EA and Bioware immediate feedback on the importance of the Ending DLC, so they can allocate sufficient resources to make a quality product.

To that end, we propose the following campaign:

We will turn ON our single player game on April 28th, during a pre-defined period to show EA/Bioware the number of passionate fans who love the series and who will continue to buy their products IF the DLC provides a satisfactory ending.

We will then turn OFF our game on April 29th, and refuse to play for a pre-defined time period to give EA/Bioware a clear idea of the potential loss of custom and support they will suffer if the DLC is NOT satisfying."
