Ive had it off a long time only a new ending will get me to turn it on
The reason for the whole thing is to let Bioware know just how many people they stand to lose if there is no new ending, just closure and clarity.
If a better ending is important to you, I implore you reconsider. Turn it on for just five minutes on Saturday, and after that you can shut it off forever, if you wish.
It's important for Bioware to know how many people want an ending worthy of the series, and this is just one way we can show them.

My PERSONAL text I used to contact media (feel free to use, large part is written off of the FB page), everyone can come up with his/her own, just felt some might find it easier to copypasta this:
Dear Sir/Madam,
On Saturday, April 28th & 29th, Mass Effect 3 players from all over the world who aren't satisfied with the ending will come together to demonstrate their passion for the game and the hope that their concerns are dealt with properly by BioWare and EA.
From the description of the Facebook group "Turn on/off BioWare:"
"We propose giving EA and Bioware immediate feedback on the importance of the Ending DLC, so they can allocate sufficient resources to make a quality product.
To that end, we propose the following campaign:
We will turn ON our single player game on April 28th, during a pre-defined period to show EA/Bioware the number of passionate fans who love the series and who will continue to buy their products IF the DLC provides a satisfactory ending.
We will then turn OFF our game on April 29th, and refuse to play for a pre-defined time period to give EA/Bioware a clear idea of the potential loss of custom and support they will suffer if the DLC is NOT satisfying."

The only difficulty I'm having with this is being in ME3 singleplayer again. Since I beat the game I haven't been able to go back. After the ending its like willfully drinking poison.
I can sympathize. I haven't been able to play the SP game since I finished it either and I'm dreading it.
Some suggestions for playing:
Play your favorite parts of the game. Go shoot bottles with Garrus or watch Tali planning her living room window. Remember you're fighting for them! Replay Priority:Tuchanka and remember what great storytellers the writers are when they take Shepard's choices and really make them matter.
Start over with a new Shepard who isn't "your" Shepard. Play a different gender, class or alignment.
Play the demo with noob friends. I have a friend who has never played a video game in her life and I'm going to spend time with her trying to make a FemShep that looks like her. It should be funny.
There's always the option of getting drunk first.
If all else fails, just turn the game on and walk away for a little while, then turn it off again.

I will, however, keep my word and support you this weekend.
Don't give up!
I know I have, but I can't go on - physically I can't.
I need to play games that lets me forget about the world issues and my pain, instead of giving me more pain.
Keep up the good work!!

The more I read about this company, what they have written, and knowing how they have treated their fans, this game (Twitter-kills of in-game characters and whatnot) and me as well, as a Single Player, the more convinced I am to stay as far away as I can from them. I am so incredibly fed up atm.

I'm the same way. Finished the game, HATED the ending, and then watched my Shepard back on the Normandy. It really felt hollow and I walked away from a franchise I loved.
It'll be painful to go back in, knowing that's where I've been left off.
But, blast it, I want the series to end on a note it deserves and not go crying into the night like a bewildered, confused, cowardly child.

Thank you for playing! Even though it hurts, it's so important for people who haven't been playing to come back, if only for a few minutes. Just to show Bioware that we haven't left and want to return -- if they can make SP fun again.

Here you go!
How to take part:
-
Turn ON the Mass Effect 3 single player campaign at some point during
Saturday, April 28th (Pacific Time/GMT -7). It does not need to be on
for the entire 24 hour period.
- Tweet Bioware/EA (#turnMEon)
to let them know you are playing in order to show them the number of
fans who support them. Post an after action report on the BSN.
- Turn OFF Mass Effect 3 do not play either single or multiplayer for
the entirety of Sunday, April 29th (Pacific Time/GMT -7). The game must
be shut off for the entire 24 hour period. Do not login to the BSN forum
during this time. If you have an iPhone or iPad, turn off the Datapad
app using the orange Origin circle in the upper right hand corner.
- Tweet Bioware/EA again (#turnMEoff) to let them know you are
demonstrating their potential loss of customers. This is a good time to
let them know if you're happy with closure or want new endings.
That's
all! The greater the difference between the two days, the more
incentive EA will have to fund the DLC properly. Bioware is more than
capable of giving us an amazing conclusion to this saga if they have the
financial support to do it right.
There's a time schedule in the second post, too. Please play on Saturday -- it's the only way your voice can be heard!
