Wow I haven't played any bioware since march, so I guess its a non issue for me.

just turn it on when the time comes and then go dark again they need to see all of us first.

Wait? What? When? Those pics are distracting.

i think the time zone post is under the OP so look there for when the go time is for where you live. its a safe bet just to say saturday is the play day and sunday if the off day though. so just pick it up and play a bit then (if you can stand to) and let their system see that you are playing the SP game.

As long as you're logged in to Origin, you should be fine. :)

They should have a banner for Javik. Something like "Turn Javik On. April 28th. It's been 50 000 years..."

I hope EA pays attention. I have high hopes that Bioware will pull though in the end.

Turn on your game Saturday (it doesn't have to be on all day), then turn it off all of Sunday (it has to be off all day). The instructions are in the first two posts of this thread.;)

I hope so! Can you imagine the happiness if the EC is as well put together as Tuchanka? Not that I'm setting my hopes so high, but it's nice to dream, isn't it?

The more I read about this company, what they have written, and knowing how they have treated their fans, this game (Twitter-kills of in-game characters and whatnot) and me as well, as a Single Player, the more convinced I am to stay as far away as I can from them. I am so incredibly fed up atm.
I will, however, keep my word and support you this weekend. :)

Don't give up!
I know I have, but I can't go on - physically I can't.
I need to play games that lets me forget about the world issues and my pain, instead of giving me more pain.
Keep up the good work!!  Image IPB

Thank you! Don't give up!

Honestly, I believe my body can't take more. I'll just play others games - still supporting you this weekend. though, for the good cause. :)

(was editing but turned out new post)

I'm done, I will probably not support BW/EA no more, after this weekend, but I do support everyone who feels positive - for the game, the endings, or for hopes of change.

It's positive and that is nothing but good! I wish you all the very best and I hope it will work out good for you - and I will keep my promise to you this weekend. :)

<3

edit: As you know, I have so many other issues than "just" the "ending", there is no reason for me to support BW/EA really.

Seems like a bit much, I think they know how much we appreciate the Mass Effect series what with the level of backlash they're getting right now and they're already working on EC + I don't even know what kind of DLC. But this is a good movement, showing EA how invested in this game we are, I just hope some our more...hostile fans in arms don't do what they do best...

Coincidentally enough I'll probably be playing all day Saturday anyway, and working most of Sunday unable to play. So I guess I'll inadvertently support the cause? *salute* Keep it civil, keep it strong.

lol... "turn off Starchild". I'll give Bioware this chance and this chance only... but that doesn't mean I'll pre-order anything from them in the future.

No such thing as too much positivity. You should have a cuddle from the LI of your choice exceptthisoneshe'smine*hidestali*

Feeding them cupcakes didn't seem to work, so so far this seems like a good initiative to take. Hopefully seeing a drop in online participation for that day will catch their attentions.

I just really hope the drop on Sunday won't discourage them into cutting things, know what I mean? But that's the pessimist in me talking.

Too bad it falls on one of their MP mission weekends. That might bring the number of participants down some, but if it makes a large enough drop in the MP aspect, that should give them even MORE proof of our resolve.
I shall support this, mission rewards or not:
My reward awaits me in a better ending for the galaxy.

I'll just jump in and speak for Shinobu (who is the Original Poster) w/o asking for permission, and say:

Yes, please do!!  :)<3

Spread the word, everyone - everywhere!

Good idea, simple and effective.
Don't have twitter or facebook, so I'll be joining just with the game itself + BSN. (Good thing I have like 150 saves to replay any part of the game I want). And whoever made the "Shut down starchild" poster deserves a medal.

Nice idea. I can't participate since I am away from my PC this weekend, though.

I really think BioWare should just start a survey via Ingame, Origin, PSN or XBox Live though. Every gameowner should take it. Then they would see what the real thoughts of their fanbase are!

I´d like to help but I´m not using twitter or facebook or any other BS of the same kind. So maybe turning on the console after refusing to play ME3 for about 4 weeks for that specific day and turn it off again is enough.

Hm we could do this every weekend and call the campaign "Heartbeat for ME3" ... because of the spikes they'll see :D
