But wherever he shows up, its bound to be something of importance which he always tries to negate. Oh, the irony.

The level of involvement by numbers means this is extraordinarily unlikely to succeed.
Exactly, this stunt is going to more laughable than the failed charity.

Is this someone we should know or did I miss something? At any rate, the important thing is that we are trying. Interesting how anyone would spend their time on a game forum that they are clearly interested in, putting down people who are promoting a movement to improve the game.
Agreed. I fully respect those who disagree, they have a right to their opinion too, but I'm getting utterly sick of the ones who do nothing but belittle anyone who doesnt like the ending.
I mean, are we "childish" or "entitled" because we're actually passionate
about something and are doing everything in our power to show Bioware/EA that passion? Honestly....

Edit: Sorry guys I've decided not to participate. I want the DLC to be good obviously, but after reading the aims of this demonstration more closely, I find I disagree with it a bit. The "turn off" part feels like it's a threat to BioWare and I don't understand how they could possibly think people don't care about singleplayer anymore. Props to you for doing this if you believe in it though! I just feel that it's a bit unnecessary. My bad for not reading the OP more carefully.
Also, someone earlier had posted that the voice actors hadn't been contacted for new work on the DLC. That is what I was referring to.

Will participate! Is it really true that the voice actors haven't been contacted? I just assumed they would be.
I sent a tweet to everyone of them that has a twitter account, Steve Blum and Jennifer Hale retweeted it for me.

I think this is brilliant idea and for sure, sign me up! I shall be participating with bells and whistles on!!! ;o)))
Am just thinking, how funny for me to poke my head onto the BSN in a good, long while, just to see if there are any new developments in this ongoing saga, only to find out about this campaign in time for me to participate.
After finishing my first (and only) playthrough and following the BSN and the news coming out of Bioware very closely for about a week or two, even attempting to enjoy ME1 anew, to my great surprise, shock and dismay I found myself totally apathetic about Mass Effect - I honestly couldn't believe it myself. One of my very favourite sagas that I've poured countless of hours of experience/immersion and gotten sooo much enjoyment out of, to me one of THE BEST game series of all time... and I didn't... rather was incapable of caring about it anymore!
Luckily for me Deus Ex: Human Revolution has been such a wonderfully soothing balm (totally unexpected but so very much needed), that I just jumped right into the deep end and haven't looked back (almost done with my second full playthrough of both the main game and the DLC, after which I am seriously considering doing yet another playthrough, this time as a total bad boy).
It is such a shame that the ME3 ending (I use the singular term as for me there really was only 1 ending), those 5 to 10 minutes, has totally ruined any replayability of not only ME3 but the entire series as well. And before you say it, no, I am not exaggerating, because I have found out just how much I am incapable of enjoying any of the three games and believe me, NO ONE was more surprised than I.
Don't you see Bioware? I want to be able to enjoy this wonderful, amazing adventure you have created, I want to be able to love ME1, ME2 and ME3... Please, please, please, allow me the opportunity!
Will probably poke my head in here again at some point in the future to see if there are any new developments, but until such time... Good luck everyone!
*HUGS*
*slinks back into the shadows*
*hugs back* Thank you for taking part! I'm sorry the ending killed your enthusiasm for the game. You are the reason I'm here -- I want Bioware to hear from all the people who loved this series but can't bring themselves to play it any more. I hope this Ending DLC makes all of us able to play our Shepards again!
