I don't have a twitter so I can't tweet about it, but I proudly participated! Played for about twenty minutes or so, killed some Husks on Menae and met good old Garrus. I might even continue that playthrough later on and stop right before Priority: Earth, but tomorrow will be a Dragon Age day for me.
Signing off now, see you monday!

Don't have twitter but I participated at around 13:00 CST. Played the beginning of the game on Earth...felt sort of sad, could've been epic...

Didn't tweet, my omni-tool was fried.
I did Sur-Kesh in the "injured" armour set. Representing Shepard's hurt will, and how we need to band together to help.

Wasn't aware that Single Player was in any sort of danger....

Ah well. I'm over ME3 now. Played it to death. Bored of it now. Definitely not gonna turn it on for a day for no reason when there are other games to play.

Good luck, tho.

+1

Well don't complain when you have an issue with a game, industry,or developer,as your time to make a statement is now. Obviously doing nothing will change nothing.

No twitter or facebook here - so just posting in BSN about my participation.

I logged in - started a new character from ME2 imports... felt the bitterness and sadness creeping in again and exitted the game and Origin.

Will log out of the forums here in a bit in prep for tomorrow.

I'm not sure if that was addressed at me... but...

I have had issues with game developers. Read my sig. An ending I find disatissfying in a game that overall is excellent and works technically fine isn't what I call an "issue." Paying for DLC that breaks the main game and makes it unplayable is what I call an issue.

So I just pick my battles. This, here with ME3? Isn't one of them.

But again, good luck.

My statement was meant in General. Also this statement is against EA/Bioware. Having a problem with the way DLC is handled? Well why not participate in the turn it off/on event? How could it possibly hurt? It may be one of the many steps needed to help change the gaming industry including DLC etc. I am not trying to attack anyone who does not want to participate,I am just saying it is harmless and couldn't hurt, especially if you have any complaints concerning games, the industry, developers, etc.

No twitter or Facebook. For whatever it's worth, however, I am participating.

I still enjoy the bulk of ME3, so spent some quality time on a new playthrough today. I plan to stop playing completely before the ending, though.

Tomorrow I don't plan to play ME3, or sign into the BSN at all.

Sorry but no. At the moment, I'm not playing ME3 purely because the tone is not something I want to be immersed in after a family tragedy. That, and well, I won't be told what to do by a fan campaign that, like the rest of the "retake movement," is horribly misguided.

Why not participate in the turn it off/on event? Because I don't believe in it, or its goals. "Save Single-Player"? I sunk over 100 hours into Single Player through multiple playthroughs. I found it more than satisfactory, and I don't see a need to save it. I don't know what else the turn it off/on stands for other than general disatissfaction revolving around the endings.

On the other side, the DA2 MoTA problem has persisted for 6 months. It's an actual real problem about people spending real money on a DLC that breaks the main game. It's not a matter of opinion on whether it's good or not: it's not a matter of taste, like the ME3 issue is. It's a matter of the game physically not working unless you choose not to play the DLC you paid real money for.

If turn it off/on addressed this, I'd be on board. But it doesn't in the least. I've read the opening statement and I've been following it behind the scenes. I understand what they're about, and I'm not on board.

You let me know when an organized event like this comes around to address the actual quality and fairness surrounding DLCs, not just wanting the DLC to satisfy an ending or whatever, and I'll be there in a heartbeat, donating real money for that movement.

But again, good luck. I mean it too, I'm not attacking anyone who is taking part in it.

I feel as you do,but I have decided to try and lend my help to the cause. Although I do not have as big of a problem with DLC as you,I still share concerns.(Also I only bought the 1st dlc for DA2.And fully share your opinion on broken dlc etc.) I also have other complaints. Tailoring to general gamers, auto features, animations, restriction of freewill, broken gameplay, story, concepts, rushed products etc, etc, etc. This is just one way of standing up and asking for change.

In a bigger picture this is just one event of gamers standing up for themselves. These are the ideals I am standing for,and why I have decided to participate in this event.

No one is "telling you what to do". Every person's participation is 100% voluntary. We are not "misguided" but I'm afraid you sound a little misinformed.
