That might have been me and my friends
Sometimes after we are exhausted of doing Gold and Silver we take it down to Bronze and dominate.
Usually we open the lobby for a public fourth, so someone gets some easy money with us.
Seems like the right thing to do...
Absolutely might have been you guys. I remember hoping at the end of the mission that TeamSpaceRambo was unbelievably awesome, and I hoped I didn't get in the way. Maybe they said to each other, " That RollaChief dude was slow and kind of sucked, but did you notice? He kept out of our way and damned if he didn't have our flanks. He held the rearguard. Sucky Bronze guy did okay."
If so, Victory! Old grunt soldiers have value in the squad! And if it was you guys, mega-thanks for the mission-point gift. No freeloader here--tried to prove in battle that I was grateful.
Just a note, my friends would NEVER say, "that dude kinda sucked..." or they wouldn't be my friends.
Plus, if it was Bronze and you were shooting at stuff and not just leeching in a corner somewhere... then you were also part of TeamSpaceRambo, because you were at least participating.
And to me and my friends that is all that is required of anyone, participation.

I would've kicked you too. Wow you whined about a lot of things. Quit complaining if you don't like it then stop playing.

Another is when I am guarding the rear and letting the other 3 get there kills on the front line and all I keep hearing is squad member down over and over and over. Really the cover system in ME3 isn't the best but dam if one is always getting cut down I would think one would learn to you know use it. Least I got plenty of pratice at soloing waves though I couldn't get past wave 8 on silver solo.

Having only a single infiltrator on an objective and the rest of the team camping is a legit strategy. Though when you say they were "perched" it doesnt sound like they had this idea in mind.

LONG POST. My sincerest apologies for it. But I'm not a thread creator, and I think my issues with MP are on-topic with this thread. So if you're a troll, and/or don't like long posts, SKIP THIS. But we can't stop trolls from snarking. Trolls can't resist. Hence, the troll-age.
I don't wanna' be THAT guy. But on bronze, I've played with MOSTLY those guys. I've read that on silver and gold that this may no't be such an issue, but I'm not very good at this MP thing. It's likely a Bronze life for me. It's hard enough.
What bothers me:
On bronze level, the meta-multiplayer gamers who obviously are working up their umpteenth character to level 20, and are clearly annoyed that I'm not Space Rambo. They push me out of the way, move into my cover, warp right next to me, and race off without the team as...that's right. Space Rambo. I'm level 16, now, and I can count on one hand the number of missions I've played in which the team actually worked together. I should have written down all their gamertags and send them a "thank you" for playing the game the way it should be played.
And yes, to all the nasty little trolls who have entered, farted, and left in this forum, and have derided those in this thread who are upset with the lack of cooperation, teamwork, and fairness, there IS a right way to play:
1. Cooperation, teamwork, fairness, support, understanding your role in the team: GOOD.
2. Lone wolfing, kill stealing, solitary melee clustering, leaving teammates to bleed out: BAD.
If you don't get this simple dichotomy, well, let's just say I don't want you living in my community IRL.
I wish I could say to those bad players on Bronze that I'm mostly forced to play with (but don't because I refuse to use a mike--it's a horribly abused bit of tech), "Look. I'm an old gamer. I don't have a 20-year old's hand-eye coordination or reflexes any more. I'm slow. I also am not in this for the personal glory. I'm playing to get my Galactic Readiness at 100% for the SP game. I'm NOT happy that I need to play the multiplayer game*. I'm doing my best. I really am. And I"m trying to be aware of a solid role I can play on a team, and what I'm not capable of doing. So as a common, grunt human soldier, I promise to do the following:
1. I will never steal your kills. I will not EVER use my sniper rifle to steal your melee kill or your biotic attack that you've worked hard to get.
2. I will not get into your way. I may follow you at a distance because on some maps I'm easily confused (I'm old), but I will NEVER glom onto your cover spot (that's rude) and I will not step into your line of fire. I follow because you know where the enemy's coming, and I don't. And no, I don't always remember. Besides, you DON'T want me
leading the charge.
3. I will not get a lot of kills. In fact, I'll always have the fewest, and the fewest point totals. That's not because I'm not helping the team. I will hang back, pick my targets, and always go for assists. If someone is meleeing, I will often pepper their opponent, then allow the fellow player to make the melee kill. As a grunt, my job is support,
not commando. Most of the badges I get at mission's end are for assists and support. They may not be as flashy as your multiple badges, but I feel good. I helped.
4. I will never, ever, rush out blindly into melee or the thick of the fight. That will get me in others' way, get me killed, and put everyone at a disadvantage because I just stupidly got myself killed.
5. I will have your back. I know that you're younger, faster, and much more experienced at this sort of game than me. Because you're a better player, I will keep to the flank, and work on maintaining a buffer between you and whatever might be circling around to shoot us in the back.
6. I don't play any other character. I'm bad enough as it is; I will be worse with yet another Level One character with too many skills and abilities to remember. So I play a human soldier in support. That's all.
I just don't want to be THAT guy. But on Bronze, I have to play with 'em all the time.
Thanks for reading. I appreciate it.
*Yes, I'm aware that I don't technically HAVE to play multiplayer. But Galactic Readiness IS tied to EMS. After one SP playthrough, I've resigned myself to playing multiplayer, to get my EMS at the max. I'll give myself every option I can for a good ending, if we get one in the DLC. And I'm just trying to have fun, too, within the spirit of the rules. EMS goes down if you don't keep playing (I know there's a 75% GR floor), and I want to get a Level 20 soldier so I can better help the team, and not be a burden to the other players.
Well said.
However, you should be able to enjoy multiplayer if you play with people that is aware of your playstyle and is willing to lend a hand.
If you are in Origin don't hesitate to add me (Tortugueta). I usually play on silver nowadays but I don't mind playing on bronze if you invite me to a match.
By the way, I'm on my thirties so I'm no kiddo either.

If they moved at all it wasn't very far cause everytime I revived them it was always in the same spot. I understand the strat of a infiltrator setting up shop in a spot but too never leave it when a team mate falls or to even help with objectives is too much. I have not seen this kind of play very often but when I do it does make me mad.

sadly he was actually pretty damn overpowered, but kept dying a lot (of course, but he was also only level 10), but it wasn't the dying or stupidity of a MELEE INFILTRATOR GETH that made me slightly homicidal... it was the constant talking and the complete disregard for other players just because it was Bronze.
And then he took at least 5 to ten minutes between each and every match to level up and by stuff...
Some of you are asking why did I stay? Because one, I found it amusing to let him die... two: No one ever talks during matches, it was kind of pleasant to actually hold a conversation... and three, I am stupidly loyal and tend not to ditch people unless they are rude, arrogant, or make racist jokes.

Personally, I hate when someone fires a missile at an already weakened Atlas. We were taking him down fine, save the missiles for when we need them!
- People who die early on and quit.
- People sniping the target I've set up for a biotic combo when there are plenty others to choose from. Seriously, don't do that.
- People who sit in the lobby, not readying up. Especially hosts.

Even when your a group full of soldiers or infiltrators or low level vanguards whithout anyway of taking down a banshee fast... and the only way any of the banshees were killed in the first place was the lime green Turian used his missles(and then ran out of them)... and all someone ANYONE had to do was use ONE missle on the banshee and we would have finished the mission... but NOOOO...
But I'm not bitter... NO NOT ME

Hacked synthetic is way too fluid situation to just say that killing them is bad.
There is an upgrade (lvl 6 me thinks) that makes hacked explode nicely, there might be that hacked prime is the most dangerous opponent on the field, or you may be level 10 quarian and your hack last for litterally for a second etc. etc.

People who complain about people using medi-gels. Maybe I didn't see you standing, you know, behind me? This platform's optics are forward looking. Nobody wants to be the guy getting killed all the time. If I have meds, I'm going to use them. Doesn't matter what wave I'm in.
Kill stealing. Ooh, you miss a shiny medal at the end of the mission for all of what? The 10 seconds you're on that screen?. This is not that kind of game. Please get over it.
Geth turrets renew shields. That's why I deployed it right on top of us. It might actually help while we're uploading this data. Besides, the flamethrower might help us from, I don't know, getting swarmed?
Get in the circle! More people means faster upload, means more credits and experience. No brainer. I also don't want to waste time running to revive you when you're 50 feet away on the other side of the map trying to up your kill count NOT helping get this done faster.
Get in the landing zone! Sure, we don't want to get swarmed and all die at the LZ, but when the timer hits 20, SPRINT for the effing LZ so we can all get more experience.

That's true, but in my case I inform them that I've put points toward making Hacked Synthetics better at helping us directly. The Hacked Geth move faster, do more damage, etc., and yet 'That Guy' still target them, probably to try and diminish my assist and kill points.
