I used the method in the OP as the only thing I really wanted was to stop reviving when I'm trying to dodge to avoid insta-kills. So I just remapped use to R. However, the OP didn't mention removing Exclusive Use from the shared action bit.

Works fine now that I did that, you should add that bit to the OP.

Thanks thegamefreek, that should help
I was going to change the squad attack (Z) since you can get them to attack the same target just with Q-E tapping.

I successfully seperated the dodge (action) and sprint (storm) keys.
However,
My take cover (action) and sprint (storm) still shares the same key?

My action is the default space as seen in the options menu and storm key is left shift.
This is what I really want to fix and thanks for any help.

but dancing around your fallen comrade is part of the ritual to revive him/her.

Wow, and I thought that my first post was... comprehensible.
Looking back now, it was a massive block of chaos.

So I cleaned the OP up a bit and added removing the exclusive used to the first EDIT part.

Hey Zhuinden :] I'm once again in need of your assistance. I want to separate light and heavy melee to two different keys: light melee to "F" and heavy melee to "Q", but the problem is, I don't know the commands. Any help will be appreciated :]

Edit: I forgot... is there any way to just tap "Q" for the heavy melee, or I'll have to "hold" it again...?

I have that exact setup. If you're willing to hardcode the bindings, make these changes:
( Name="Shared_SquadMove1", Command="TryHeavyMelee" )
( Name="Shared_Melee", Command="TryMelee | LeaveWorld" )

Dodge and cover is the same action. To disable storm on Space just remove the relevant commands (StormOn/StormOff).

Thanks. However what I wanted to do is disable cover from my storm (left shift)

What I did in sfxgamemodebase
( Name="PC_Storm", Command="StormOn | OnRelease StormOff" )

In sfxgamemodedefault
( Name="LeftShift", Command="PC_Storm" )

So I have no idea how the take cover bounded on my left shift as well.

Are you perhaps talking about auto-cover? You can disable that, too, but then you can only enter cover when you're in range of cover and press the cover key.

Yes. Thats what I need. Where can I find the
(MinCameraDotCover=0.99, MinSlotDotPlayer=0.707, MinPlayerDotCoverOffset=0.502, MaxDist=400, MaxCoverHeightFactor=1.0)

And from what I understand from your post, I can fully disable it when I set the MinSlotDotPlayer=1?

Thanks.

The setting is in [biogame.ini/sfxgame/bioplayercontroller/directionalcoveracquireparams] but re-read the post I linked. MinSlotDotPlayer is only the angle to the wall. I never tried setting it to 1 so I don't know if that will disable it or just make it so difficult as to be impossible in normal play. One of the posts I quoted mentions a way to disable it completely.

Wait. So if I disabled it there will my space (action) for cover still work?

It will. This setting only governs running (maybe walking) into cover. If you stand still while in range you take cover as normal.

Then you're expecting it to do something other than what it does. That's all I can say.

Remapping keys is cheating? I changed the key for dropping the intelligence on TF2 almost 2 years ago. And my Steam account is still VAC ban free. If Bioware starts banning remappers, it means that they're a bunch of ****s. IF they do, of course.

So far they said it's all legal to do so.
