Why can't I post pictures?

Before any of you try to educate me on how to post images to forums - trust me, I'm doing it the way I should. I upload a photo to photobucket, then I copy the direct link to the photo, then I use the BBCode button and type in the proverbial code of [ img]http://picture.jpg[/img ]  and then I hit the BBCode button and the image even loads up in the text box. 

Then I hit "submit" and my post goes up instantly with *image removed*

Also when I quote others' posts that include pictures they successfully posted up, their picture appears in the text box, I write my response below their quote, I click submit, and voila - *image removed*

What is going on?

Can someone please fix this?

Is it because I'm a new user? Do I have to wait a certain time period before I'm allowed to post pictures?

I am having problems posting files to my project.

I would guess they are having problems.

I do not know if they have techs working on the weekend, we may have to wait till Monday for the problems to be fixed.

Yeah but I have another profile on here that had the exact same problem and that profile is over a week old. I made this new profile and again - same problem. I hope someone reads this and comes to my rescue soonish.

So I tried it again. Pictures are not showing up. It still says *image removed*

Again, I'm using the BBCode button, putting in the standard [ img] code (minus spaces), and I am using photobucket from which to host photos.

The photo loads up in the text box fine. When I submit the post, it says *image removed*. What gives?

Ok. Problem solved. You must wait a week if you're a new user. That was difficult to verify. Luckily I considered it.

Hm. Well I've been signed up for a little over ten days myself and I still can't post pictures - it didn't work when I tried to edit my previous post anyway - so maybe there's also a certain number of posts you're supposed to make...

Edit: Ah, nevermind, I guess it was just because I was trying to use an older post, but I tried adding a pic to this one and it did work out, cool~
