Liara is forced onto me as a player far too often for me to like her. I'd probably like her a lot more if I weren't forced to interact with her so often. In ME1, I could delay recruiting her until near the end of the game if I so chose so I had little problem with her there. In ME3, though, I am not given this option. I am forced to take her on more missions than any other squadmate, she shows up in Shepard's cabin far more often than even Shepard's love interest does, and she has had more supplemental material devoted to her than anyone else.

In short, overexposure.
