Hello All,
I would like to start by saying I'm very excited to be part of this community again. I just picked up the complete Neverwinter Nights collection and for the first time in about four years booted up everyone's favorite loadscreen.
Since I have attempted to play through NWN2 with a friend of mine via the Game Spy server. I was surprised to see the login no longer supported and myself unable to connect to the Game Spy server.
I since have:
- edited the nwn2player.ini to include the [server options] via information found on NWN2wikia
- I have allowed full acces to NWN2 in the Windows Firewall and have also tried completely turning off the firewall (its the only firewall I have on this fresh install of win7)
- I have added the ports 5121 and 27900 to my server for my IP address
-I've done several fresh installs and on all of them completely patched the game.
I've been going through pages on different forums more or less suggesting these steps and at this point just have to ask... Am I missing something? I know with Vista it was suggested games might need to be played in XP compatibility mode but the game runs fine in win7.... is there a general edit that is needed? Is the Game Spy server down? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also would like to mention that my router is a Verizon FIOS Actiontec MI424WR[/b] and I'm playing on a Bootcamp partition of Win7 on a MacBook Pro. It is my understanding that there could be an IP for the OSX and one for Win7. If anyone could confirm or dispel that the nature of the bootcamp partition could be the issue (or any general input) It would be greatly appreciated.
