we had problems with the exorcist packs because bioware tried adding the indra sniper. bioware needs to put their foot down and ban people who mod on 360 and PS3. giving them permission to, is the same as saying 'walk all over us'. this kind of stuff is not right to be doing. this is not legit.

First off you've apparently never been a PC gamer.  Second, BioWare is okay with modding SINGLEPLAYER.  Why would modifying your singleplayer game not be okay?

i don't play on pc. it's not ok, because once people mod SP and they will start modding multi, thinking they can get away with it.

There are people who are going to think that way regardless.

That generally holds true for any multiplayer game.  Hackers are the ones that give modders a bad name.

Modding is one of the best ways I know of for a gaming enthusiast to enrich a favorite game of theirs, which is typically then shared and enjoyed by countless others in our community.

BioWare has a long history in the games they've made of allowing, even encouraging modders and modding, going so far as to release official toolkits. Google NWNLexicon, or visit Starwarsknights.com, as two starting points.

Not liking cheaters is something I think we almost all share, and my middle finger remains raised to the minority smirking in their self-made superiority. Calling modders and modding the cause, reason and blame for cheaters shows a remarkable lack of perspective, and a willy-nilly finger waggering that I find lame-o-rama.

AFAIK, their is no legal modding of the XBOX or PS3... If that is your real complaint, I guess that's fine with me -- I play on PC :P

Focus your anger on those actually responsible, or maybe consider where you are posting.
