Well, now that you mention it I am a little butthurt right now. My mad skillz at eating queso made from extra-hot salsa and jalapeno cheddar with diced habanero to boot the other night are crazy mad, yo. That had me bound up for like two days, man it was like a three-flusher not counting the courtesy flush or the like half a roll of TP to clean up that biohazard. It was as big as a baby's head, man. Women who **** about childbirth have nothing on a log full of capsaicin that's been brewing for like three days, with irritable bowels in the first place and an enlarged prostate.TheChosen0ne wrote...

i mean how many times till you learn, hey maybe i shouldn't do that?
so ridiculous lol...
oh and yeah... OP is definitely just trolling... my vanguard skills > 97% of ME3 players... no seriously, i abuse the ****** out of invincibility frames and i only host. I still tend to die less than everyone else, but my WMD is my friend on his SI who rezzes me should things go bad.

i really wish bioware would end friendly fire that way i can send a message to people who do crap like that
when they do i usually just let them die and hey if there dumb enough to spam all the time dont look to me for help

But I give everyone one chance.
One.
If you **** up and the other two players are buddies of mine, we'll simultaneously send you out of the lobby after the round.

Human Vanguard = Vote Kick
Drell, Asari, and Krogan Vanguards however... can stay.
may i ask why? ( seriously not trolling) I mean i did see my share of bad human and other vanguards but unless they carry very "wrong for their class" weapons it's kinda hard to tell how they will be. The reason i'm asking is because i'm most successful with my human vanguard (it does require quite a bit of battlefield awareness going at all times and always plan ahead but it survivability is just amazing). i typically play engineer or infiltrator classes and when it comes to biotics, human vanguard is the easiest (for me personaly) to use.
Some people say "vanguards kill-steal, dont hack/do objectives, stupidly charge just to die in 5 seconds" but i have to say its limited to the person playing the game.. not the class
I also notice not too many players using human vanguard class ( i wonder if some do not use this class often due to all the bad rep but i dont know... bad teamplayers are bad with all classes with human vanguard they just yell before announcing the next stupid move "aaaaahhh")
Maybe try and give a human vanguard a chance once in a while (if loadout looks reasonable and their rank/lvl are ok). You might be pleasantly surprised

I think I can safely say that if I were playing Vanguard you aren't the person I'd want watching my back then, anyway. I play for fun, and sometimes learning to play a character and sucking at it is part of the fun. If we were all experts where would the intensity and excitement be?
i like the positive attitude - absolutely love it when i join a team (on any class) and they are having fun - no matter how tough fight is - you'll also be having a blast

Seriously I still don't have the courage to play Krogan Vanguard on gold since every Krogan Vanguard that enters a lobby on gold gets vote kicked a few seconds later. When someone gets 2 votes for a kick I usually just go "oh well my team mates dont want him in. Sorry dude."
The good one I've played though knew when to charge and when to stay calm. Reaper gold.. easy as pie.

I think the Human Vanguard "Nova Spam" has died down a ton on Gold, now that most players know that strategy isn't anywhere near flawless. However, these Krogan will never learn.

I mean I spent my time dodging rockets to lay suppressing fire onto him, Broke through his shields and got him down to the last morsel of health...and then you charge in like a headless chicken with biotics and totally saved the day brah! Man we make an awesome team dude, hey you wanna wipe out these bros over here after I spend all my ammo wearin' em down but don't get equally rewarded for points wise? Dude this is what co-op should be man"
you're right... a well timed shot from behind the "guy doing all the work" is much more quiet, efficient and draws less negative comments... not like this ever happens though! (cause players who care about their milisecond glory of the final score only play human vanguard) gold star for logic

Unless you have lvl 3 cyclonic armor, lvl 3 ammo power, lvl 3 weapon bonus and a high level weapon. I'm tired of rezzing these horrible vanguards that go away from the group and die then leave because they suck. Now if you're a boss like me with the vanguard, you don't die more than 3 times in a gold game.
Wait, so you play Vanguard but you won't let anyone else play it? If you don't see a problem with that statement, than I doubt anything I can say can make you see reason.

Not negative. Okay kinda. Just pokin' fun at ANYONE's reaction really to having done most of the work only to have it stolen. Regardless of who did it. No one has ever said "I love being in a team" when someone tips over the Atlas you've been working at and declares it a victory. "Kill Stealing [Enter Homosexual or Racist Slur]" seems to be the general consensus and the bog standard reaction to that behaviour on ANY co-op game.
i def. see your point but on a personal note unless the person was standing idly besides me waiting for that perfect moment to do a killing shot/blow/spit i dont give a damn. Sure i'm competetive but i make it fun - sometimes i yell out the target i'm going for (only when playing with friends) and we try to race/beat eachother who gets it - this makes it so much more relaxed/fun.
On a side note, what always makes me scratch my head when a player with very high N7 rating pulls out a rocket and starts spamming the living sh*t out of everything on wave 11 and not even bothering to do so for full extraction or trying to return to landingzone - no just waiting for that one atlas to spawn to nuke it (seen couple of players with just above 1000 doin it). when i told them that they didnt have to waste rockets since we can definately kill those and wave 11 on lvl 20 character has little rewards (especially if u dont even do full extraction -that fuzzy "hell yeah" feeling is not there) - i was later told that its for #1 spot on the scoreboard....

What! Drell Vanguards? Seriously.
Asari and Krogan Vanguards I understand (stasis and meatshield basically), but a Drell?
I wouldn't kick people willy nilly, but I favor Human Vanguards over Drell's anyday. Drells get downed way to quick.

Vanguard was the last class I tried to master, and it is still my least favorite.
But now I have a much better idea of what they are capable of, and of what their role is in the battlefield.
You will also find that Nova actually kind of sucks, and should be a last resort.
A vanguard is an EXCELLENT way to keep the enemy team tied up. Their specialty is pissing off the brute that gets too close to the objective. Spamming biotic charge so that their shields never run out. Hit, run, repeat.
Vanguards excel at staying alive in the middle of a large group of pissed off enemies, those that get killed frequently have the wrong specs and are trying to do the wrong thing.
That being said, the passive skills are a MUST with vanguards. Made my human build without fitness, got its azz handed to him repeatedly. Made my Asari maxed fitness (shields) training (weight capacity), Charge (barrier recharge and radius) and stasis (damage and bubble). I was rather useful for my team. Arming the objective? Alright, I'll keep the enemy team nice and busy (I had to run from Basheees, though).
Vanguards have a definite, and rather limited role in the mission. Find one that realizes this, and you will want to play another couple of rounds with them.
That being said, I have found few human vanguards that were worth my time to revive.

I'm in the process of waiting out two people trying to vote-kick the lvl 20 Krogan Vanguard on our team.
People shouldn't be kicked for playing a certain class. It's a game, meant for fun. Some people find some classes more fun than others. If you can't deal with that you should leave, not them.
That goes both ways Liber. If you have a coop game where you use a class the rest of the team are not willing to play with, then...
However, this is exactly what the microphone can be used for when in the lobby. (Yesterday, we were feeling a bit lazy with a friend so we decided to farm geth. We opened the gate and two krogans joined. I told them (politely) that they should change, and one of them did, the othere set to ready. After about 30sec and a second warning we started the vote kick, which he saw and left.) I am sure that with proper tactics a krogan can easily make it through FBWGG, but we wanted to make it as fast as possible, and that does not allow sub-optimal team composition.
My experience is that a sole vanguard (whatever species) is pretty much useless on gold. However, with a bit of team synergy, it can speed things up. And I personally don't give a rat's ass about people claiming to being able to solo gold with a lvl1 human vanduard without consumables. This is a team game, so being able to solo has nothing whatsoever to do with playing in a team.

Only good Vanguards are the Krogan battle master and the Human one.
You need to stop eating paint chips. You've obviously began the later stages of full retardation.
Asari Vanguard is bad? Uh... it has Stasis for one, secondly L2Grenade fool.
