I found out that un equiping your gear and re equip will remove the blood stains for any characters when you don't have the dog with you.

Some gore wouldn't be bad, but this amount is unrealistic.

Just cut a wolf and felt like taking a literal bloodbath.

Isn't there a "gore" setting that you can just scale, like in earlier BioWare games? Having to equip and unequip your gear seems a bit silly if that's the only way to get rid of blood stains.

As far as I know - and I don't have the game yet - there is NO scaling gore setting/slider, only the option to turn off the blood on your clothes/armor.
