Also, my Dual Wield Warrior PC has maxed out the Combat Training and Coercion skills trees. Should he now focus on Survival or Combat Tactics? Thanks! =P

Oh and daggers work perfectly with cunning + lethality. Making your archer a duelist or bard (for Dueling stance or Song of Courage respectively) might be nice, as they both provide some Attack rating boosts, which is the only thing that hurts about having lower dex.

Or put 1 point in poisonmaking so you could use any poison.

And you're welcome.

I do you combat tactics, but I too micro the team a lot so I suppose Survival? Would it be overkill to give Survival to Alistair and my PC?

I'll second this, especially if you are looking at Survival on both alistar and your PC - which doesn't hurt, but being able to use poisons on a dual-wielder is really nice and something I forgot to do when I made my warrior (fixed that on my rogue tho!).Morvayn wrote...

I haven't been using poisons, but does only one point allow you to use them all?
Yes, first tier poison making let's you use any tier poison. It's really nice and I strongly sugggest it for just about every melee build since it comes in handy. Being able to stun your opponents more often as a rogue or do extra damage as a warrior is helpful.
As for dex... you kind of need it. The best longbow in the game requires 36 dex and I strongly recommend wielding it. Don't bother with strength for armor because you can just wear the hardened/leather/inscribed Dalish armor which is fine for an archer until you get Wade's superior drakeskin which gives more armor than most medium armors in the game, and has a nice dex bonus and fatigue discount.
Other than that, everything should go into cunning. So basically I'd put a 1/1 ratio into dex and cunning until dex is 30 then put the rest in cunning. The fade and equipment bonus will easily get you the other 6 points.

Is Leliana your archer?

I'm trying to weigh up whether I'd be bothered enough to keep coating my weapons and keep poisons around. =P

And if Lel is your archer, just make sure you do her sidequest so you can get a good bow without paying 100+ gold.

Yes, Leliana is my archer. I've stuck with the standard builds for each character pretty much.

coating is near instant if you have them on the hotbar. i used the common poisons i found or the simple deathroot ones to keep inventory space down. besides poisons let you use the bombs too if i rem right.
