Dunno why but ive really been invisioning an ~RPG  based on the first contact wars set in a Gritty cyber punked out earth similar to Blade runner kind of like a game set in a pre prothean tech earth , and this game wouldnt be a sequal but a one off,i really like the vision drew Karpyshyn depicted in the book Revelation the only problem i could see with this kind of premise is we already know how it ends how could you create an ending with different paths without affecting the current story of mass effect ...

If you read the WIki the 1st contact war was less of a war then maybe two or three battles. Just a minor misunderstanding it would make good DLC but they would have to change canon to make it a 40-80 hour game.

Thanks for the reply ! well i was kind of thinking of having the game setting in more of events leading up too the first contact war sort of humanity going through a dark age before the technological leap that the prothean tech gave us, in my vision there would be alot of political intrigue as far as who interests were best served with the tech, perhaps cerberus can play a part in it and the three choices of characters you could chose to play is cerberus op, Corporation enforcer and maybe alliance military ...
