Least favorite race, and why

Though if we are also counting races that aren't aliens, then humans. Seriously. **** humans in Mass Effect. Bunch of entitled, impatient, warmongering, ignorant racist pricks, is what they are.

Aside from that, I couldn't care less about the Vorcha or Hanar. It's not that I hate them, it's just I don't care one way or another for them.
All the other races have redeeming qualities to me.

I personally find the Quarian's squabbling annoying as hell. I never was that interested in Tali either.

Entire galaxy of cool races, and the series has to focuses on humans 90% of the time. The trilogy really need less humans, and more of the other races.

Quarians, racist all of them even Tali.
I liked Tali, but I just thought about one of Jacob's only memorable scenes in the game. How great was it when he told Tali to be sure to introduce herself to the ship's AI? Laughed my ass off.

Volus. Interesting idea but find them jarring to talk to. The only conversations I wish I had subtitles turned on for.
I don't count the ones we're supposed to hate (Vorcha, etc.) since they served their job in making me not like them.
This Earth clan actually enjoyed talking to the volus. Something about the breathing was a turn on..similar to the darth vader breathing.
My least favorite race was probably the yarg. I was disappointed that the shadow broker amounted to an aggressive beast

I actually really like the Volus. I think they've both amusing and interesting. "I am a biotic GOD."
Leat favourite though... I might have to go with the Hanar. Something about them just annoys me.

I liked the Shadow Broker for that exact reason. I was expecting a Salarian or Volus type of character, or possibly even an AI. Instead we got a Krogan like character who was capable of possesing the intelect necessary to be the broker. I thought it was a nice twist to have a "brute" with a brain.

Probably batarians, Bioware seems determined to make them an entire race of basically petulant badguys who are jealous of everyone else and have a complex about it.
In the absence of a Krogan squad member I would have liked having Batarian on the team. Balak could have been interesting as a squad member.

But they are soo cute when you punch them in a face, or make them drink their poison. They start screaming that entire galaxy hates them and so on... Oh those tears

All the other races seem more... realistic. Though the Hanar beign able to float in the air (probably with some sort of mass effect fields) and not requiring any environment suits despite their natural environment being water-based, also require a bit more from your suspension of disbelief than most species.

N.B.: don't create AIs, period, if you;re unwilling to accept they facts that they will gain sentience and that taking them offline makes you a murderer.

I like all the others. Well, ok, perhaps not the krogan, but that's more my main Shepard's in-world perspective. As an element of the ME universe they're fine.
