She approves when I say, "Get in my tent, woman!"

Pro-tip:  Every woman approves when you talk to them like that.

Morrigan? Date a Gemini chick, you'll see what I mean.

Being a (male) gemini, I feel insulted now.

And Morrigan is definitely not any air sign. Leliana could be much more likely one, though.

She's not intrinsically evil, rejoicing in others misfortunes, etc.  She's power hungry and a utilitarian.  Whatever benefits the immediate situation is the proper course of action.

That outlook can, and often does, result in evil behavior, but the motivation isn't a love for causing pain and misery, it's benefitting herself at the expense of anyone else.

Morrigan is TOTALLY a libra.

And a sociopath. Not in the "cultural definition" of sociopath, but in the clinical definition: she has no empathy. I'm just happy she doesn't torture small animals in my camp.

Actually, she does rejoice is others suffering.  Can't give details because its a spoiler, but you do something and she laughs and you get a +3:sick:

I disagree with Ayn Rand, but I enjoy her. Comparing Howard Rourke to Morrigan is a severe discredit to Ayn Rand...

You can actually get companions to approve of decisions after disapproving originally... Also, high coercion will also allow you to justify decisions. Also understand that your perspective as a gamer is skewed, you know you can accomplish everything, they don't. If an alien invasion was imminent and I said let's go find Jesus' grave so we can cure the Governator so he can help us, you would be like? Exactly.

Also, Morrigan disapproves of a lot and she is still the easiest to get to 100 - especially if you romance her. I frequently want to punch Sten in the face and tell Morrigan to shove it, but at least Sten isn't an annoying wuss (Alistair) and Morrigan isn't a bible thumper

I think they did a great job with the companions, they are all elite in their crafts, I wanted their approval, and yet and I wouldn't want to hang out with any of them - except for my pooch

Morrigan's just easy because she has twice the amount of gifts as any other character. Im sure the devs wanted to enable every to have a chance to **** her if they wanted. It's one of their main selling points for their game, after all! LOL

I think the discussion about Morrigans character and personal philosophy is a fine proof that they got her right.

Morrigan's disapproval during the Shale questline was completely out of character for her.
I get the feeling that the DLC team set their approval rating by following a D&D alignment system to make things simple.

Comletley agree here.  Her aproval/disaproval appeared inconsistent with her character elsewhere in the game.  Why she would aprove of helping a demon possess a child, or disaprove of helping the girl by killing the demon seemed out of character.  In the circle of magi she had no sympathy for the demons, I managed to talk her into helping the mages at no aproval cost.  Similarly, when we encountered the Templar enthralled to a desire demon she had criticism for the desire demon?  Now if EVER Morrigan should have aproved a demonic possession it should have been over a Templar.  Still I didn't think her rebuke to the demon was out of character either.  She clearly understood the Fade, and knew the dangers and costs of dealing with demons, so she showed no kinship or sympathy for them.  So when she disaproved of my saving the little girl, that really smacked of inconsistency.  I believe rumination888 could be correct, perhaps a D&D alignment mentality took over to the designers of that quest.

Morrigan approves of Mass Effect 2. She is waiting for a renegade John Shepard (definitely NOT Jane, thank you very much Bioware, I thought she of all characters would have been into other chicks) to come and get her off this blight infested rock. I mean, heck, how else does dragon armor find it's way across the galaxy?

Talk dirty and slap here around a bit. Otherwise you are going to fail. That's the way I got the romance achievement and her quest.

Yet, quite possibly true. Morrigans attitude does make a whole lot of sense if you understand that kind of person in the first place. Its much like how a democrat would think a republican is crazy, unless he happens to understand how repubs think... which they usually dont.

I think she'd disapprove the talking behind her back, especially in a non-spoiler forum. Some posts reveal a bit too much for my taste.

I suggest to talk with her in the game and find out for yourself what she likes.
