Bump for great justice. And for a dev response.

Has anybody been able to make Flawless work with an Nvidia card? (I've got a GeForce 8800 GT) Have seen one or two things about crashes and such with Nvidia cards, but my game just doesn't seem to be affected at all...

Well it says it hasn't been tried on NVidia hardware, however I have some issues with it nowadays even though it had worked before.
For me, if I have the fix toggle added to for example Numpad*, then if I have it disabled, join a game, press it once to activate it, then press it 3 times to disable/enable/disable, then it will stay FOV'd without crashing.

It's weird, really.

So...no dev-answer after a month. Figures.

Has anyone brave enough tried it?

I'm pretty sure they answer is "no"
I wish 90 FOV myself, but that will give an advantage :)

Well as I use this not to have an advantage, but to make the game not hurt my eyes - so I have, and no issues so far.

Same here, I feel much less dizzy after playing for extended periods of time now. I just don't get why we're supposed to be stuck with a lame default FOV of 70 in a pc game. It just doesn't feel natural at all, and it's a basic feature. I don't get why games are taking steps backwards these days (text chat, P2P hosting system, no room for any type of modding...).

I don't care that "it could be worse".
My eyes get overstrained and I fall asleep as a countermeasure in the middle of the game. I'm not even just dizzy, it just wears me out completely.

Yeah, especially considering even StarCraft 1 could get all of that right (well, except for the modding), and that was 15 years ago. But most online FPS games didn't have troubles with implementing these either.

I haven't been on the multiplayer forums for a long while, so I don't know if this has been addressed by the moderators or not. Searching around, I haven't seen a definitive answer, so if I simply missed it I apologize for bringing this old thread back up.

What is BioWare's stance on adjusting FOV for multiplayer on the PC? Will I be punished for it?

Thanks in advance!

We don't know, apparently. O.o
I've been using adjusted FOV due to my reasons above, and I'm still kickin'.
But some people say it's a "bannable offense", even though I couldn't find any posts saying so.

Conclusion: No clue.
