Most disappointing thing in the game apart from the ending.

-The lack of consequences
-Too few dialogue options and a lot of autodialogue (and a lot of not cutscened dialogues with squadmates)
-Small squad and very poor (I personally only like Liara, Garrus and Tali). In shepard words from ME2 Arrival: "I have a hell of a squad with me. I'm sure they'd help out"
-Bad treatment of ME2 characters
-Useless war assets
-The last mission is too rushed and the end is... I can't even describe it
And a lot of things more
this aswell as
-cameo role for harbinger
-reapers themselves becoming nothing more than puppets
-no end boss
-1 hub world
-31 fetch quests
-froze a few times in the shooting range
-the cutscene glitches when its always showing the assault rifle took away some immersion
-felt like gears of war with powers
-didnt feel like an RPG.

Dream sequences. Boring, emotionally detatched, missed opportunity.
I would like to add that:
1. Your choices don't matter ( majority of ME1 and ME2 quests aren't mentioned)
2. Multiplayer affects single player. Also, the unlock system in ME3's multiplayer sucks.
3. Love Interests don't really matter

The beginning - why the hell are the reapers attacking Earth and not the citadel even though Bioware spend an entire game explaining just how awful it would be if the reapers got control of the citadel...
Nothing the reapers do in ME 3 makes any sense and to top it all of they are in the last minutes reduced to nothing but tools, Man imagine if that Happened to Sauron...wait I'm going of a tangent here.
Just gonna say the beginning.
They never needed the citadel, seeing as how they're leader was the citadel or lived on it ....idk
Then why did they conquer the citadel doing the other harvests, What was Sovereign trying to do at the end of ME 1...and by the way what exactly happened to the Master control unit that Shep uses to allow the fifth fleet entrance at the end of ME 1... of right all forgotten Because it's not like when you make a trilogy that the parts have to matter to one another, Who came up with that crazy idea.

- The sheer number of fetch missions (after 3 playthroughs, it was getting annoying to the point I increased scanner range)
- The cover system. Double-tap to slide over it, very hard to time. Reviving someone while in cover, atrocious. Usually you end up exposed.
- Auto-dialogue
- The "huge" impact of the Rachni
- Priority: Earth
- The journal. They got it right the first two games, what the hell?
- Tali's picture
- N7 missions as MP reuse / intro. I don't give a f*ck about ME MP. To top it off, it's frigging horde mode.
- The requirement to play MP to get the best ending and to play it regularly.
- The whole treatment Cerberus got, it felt a little off to me. Can't put my finger on it.
- Action Mode. The introduction of such an option itself is a disgrace to Bioware as one of THE role-playing-game developers. But, hey, it's optional.

In re: auto-dialogue
Do you guys complaining about this feel the auto-dialogue led to (your) Shepard breaking character?
The auto-dialogue was but a symptom of a larger problem. Many people have created backstories for their Shepards. I've done the same. Unfortunately for me, there's not enough breadth for me to experience my Shepard as I felt I should have. Though most of my Shepards would have made a few of the same choices, they did have other things to intereact with (possibly). However, the reduction of things to do (that's the way I see it as I don't know if anyone else felt the same way) for each Shepard only warrants one run through of ME3 for me.
I do have a Shepard that's in a romance with Liara that I haven't played yet, but I've been soured on her character given the apparent pedestal she's been put on by developers (I mentioned this earlier). So, I'm not really interested in playing it again. Combine that with the readiness factor dropping because I don't play and I'm not going to try to keep plugging a hole that keeps getting unplugged no matter how hard I try.

2. Multiplayer affecting single player
3. Liara being your BFF and having to only confide in her
4. Tali's face being photoshopped badly
5. The complete gutting of most ME2 romances
6. Kai Leng being an utter plot armored Mary Sue
7. Shepard having goofy dream sequences that are meaningless and dont really reflect your character.
8. Your main backgrounds being only mentioned TWICE.
9. Most choices meaning next to nothing
10. Boring fetch quests, without player input
11. Terrible journal system
12. Annoying reaper avoiding mini game
13. The VS STILL NOT TRUSTING YOU
14. Certain characters getting ten times the screen time and content as others
I cant complain about Cerberus since they were always subpar Bond villains. There is just so much poorly done content that if I had to I would give ME3 like a 6.5/10.

No quest tracking in the journal
Auto-dialogue, lack of real conversations on the Normandy.
Kai Leng, who needs to go back to whatever JRPG he crawled out of.

In very strong agreement with this. Multiplayer poisoned the game. I have a few hours at most for gaming and buy single player games for a reason. I don't like multiplayer! If Bioware want multiplayer and it adds to sales that's fine. Why it then affects the ending of my single player game is beyond me. When I review ME3 elsewhere this will be the prime cause of a low score. I haven't even got to the endings yet but this (multiplayer affecting single player game in any way) really, really, really, irritated me.

I was also disappointed with how some decisions didn't matter at all. Also Cerberus being retconned into a Bond villain role with an army magically pulled out of nowhere. Oh, and the prothean appearance change. And all the plotholes.
etc. etc.
