It's not nice to crush a man's boyhood dreams... :crying:

Well sure they look great with a bra pushing them up and squashing them together. Do you have any idea what boobs that size do to your back? :)

I always assumed it was differing national(i guess?) fashion choices, each city/group/whatever has it's own unique design not a universal look for them and so forth mixed with "yeah just retcon everything visualy from origins, maybe everyones eyes will stop bleeding from the bland ugliness"

Also: never mock christina hendricks's glorious bust~!

I'd have bought this if Wesley was still wearing the DA:O armor. Image IPB

And yeah, Donnic was a big upgrade anyway. Image IPB

I don't see how that's even... possible. haha.
When we first met Donnic/Seamus I was positive that the voice actor was Mr. Darcy from the new Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightley.

Well I'll admit, I was sort of offended when Donnic said my Hawke wasn't his type.. My Hawke was damn hot. So he annoyed me right off the bat. :)

And true story- I watched Pirates of the Carribean last night all for .2 seconds of Greg Ellis. (And Jack Davenport. *swoon* Don't suppose anyone watches Smash?)

So what did you guys think of the new visible forehead-brands on the Tranquil? I thought it was kind of cool, but I also liked the idea that the Tranquil would make great spies. As long as they kept their mouths shut they could blend right in and remember every detail. They can still wear hoods, but that screams "I'm up to no good" to me.

That could go down to regional diffrences. maybe Kirkwall branded its Tranquil and Ferelden didn't.

I actually think Gaider said it was due to regional differences somewhere on the forums before.

It's left up in the air, for the time being

Thank you - that was super helpful!

It also made me realize I accidentally covered some of the same content as your thread. I apologize for that, though I'm glad to find I'm not the only one who was curious about it.

Well they all get branded on the forehead with lyrium, but it shows physically in DAII but not DA:O.

Okay, so I wasn't too far off.

That link made me realize something: Wesley's wearing of the new style of Templar armor can be easily explained away, for the moment.

Varric, being a resident of Kirkwall, has probably only seen one style of Templar armor: The style that is prevalent in Kirkwall. So he may have just assumed that Ferelden Templar armor is the same.

No problem!

Indeed. I think the reason why it wasn't shown in DAO was due to some sort of programming thing or whatever. The brand wouldn't show up or Bioware couldn't properly implement it or whathaveyou.

As you can see, my technical savvy regarding game mechanics is very strong =P.

But honestly, I think it was something they wanted to be seen in DAO but for some reason were unable to make happen.

haha. clearly!

Yeah, the brand really doesn't bother me much. Only thing I could think of to explain it is to say that Meredith really liked to lord it over the mages that she can make them Tranquil, so she had the mark put on so there would be a physical reminder of the invisible threat of tranquility. But no explanation is really necessary for that one.

Now I just need to meet another high-ranking Kossith without horns and I'll be happy. Image IPB

The conspiracy that everything wrong with DA2 is because of Varric's lying  err colorful storytelling, continues to grow!Image IPB

I've had boobs that size on my back, and would definitely recommend the_one try it for himself.

I'm fairly sure at one point I remember Leliana mentioning how Ferelden is viewed as fashionally backwards by much of the world.  Seems a reasonable explaination for most things and Varric's story telling could account for most of the rest.
