Awwwwwwwww, shame on you!
Who would want to know what a fluffy griffon like that tastes like? Just too cute.
Do not want to eat little dragon pets here either.
Yes...bad, bad Tentakel! Not eat little griffon!
This might be the only one left in all of Thed....Edmonton:P

Actually, it kinda reminds me of Kirkwall. Specially, what the Gallows probably look like after the Orsino/Meredith event at the end of DA2.
I'm hoping the art style in DA3 for the environments will look a little more realistic.

There are some amazingly talented artists and photographers out there, I love looking for pictures like the ones in this thread.
The more fantastic pictures you posted wouldn't be bad as a basis for a thorough redesign of the Fade - a place more fantastic than the 'real world' of Thedas, rather than a pale and inferior reflection of it;).
Yes, you are so right about that. The fade in DA3 really really needs to improve and have those kind of elements. The fade needs to be twisted but beautifull and mindblowing at the same time

Rivain is probably pretty hot, so being able to relax in the cool shade is of the utmost importance:

(garden in the shadow of the Chantry...)

A simple, sunny courtyard: note the lines and the huge sheet of cloth: when it's hot, it's hot, and you want all the shade you can get...

Palace courtyard

That is Rivain.
BioWare make it happen!!!!!!!!!!!
Edit. colourful, gipsy and outgoing. This is how Rivain should be. Can see fortune tellers and traders doing their thing in buildings like that.

My eyes are burning from all that beauty. That would be so perfect for Rivain<3
In fact,I am so grateful, that,in my magnanimousness,I might just let you pet the baby griffon - but no eating it!
Seriously, though - those are really "schoon" ,pardon my (non-existent) Dutch:)

I want an in-depth look at the Tevinter Imperium. It's much more interesting to me than Orlais as Orais just seems like 18th-19th Century France mixed with Vatican CIty. The Tevinter Imperium is very different from just about every other fantasy setting. Mages rule, slavery is legal and common, "dark" magic is institutional, etc. It could make for a remarkably interesting setting no matter what moral stance you would take.
everything you said !!!!

Ehehe,we inspire one another left and right,do we not:lol: That is the most fun part,if you ask me.
I was thinking perhaps Tevinter could use some more oriental inspiration.
Mix some Japan and Korea, throw in a medium onion dome from Russia, sprinkle with Gothic spices for good measure,
and voila - dinner is ready to be served.Or something. Might taste a bit off,but would definitely be interesting:P
Would love to see more dwellings amongst treetops, too. And houses built on lakes. And bridges.

And perhaps something like this for Nevarra...

I am actually hoping we get to have a pet of some kind again
I would personally love to have a snarky cat like The Behemoth (Begemot
or Mogget from the Abhorsen books (for those who are familiar),but would probably fall over and die from cute overload if we were to travel with this... <3 And they are very smart little buggers,too...
