PS3 users can now take part = we now have an entire third platform's worth of players to aid with the community goal. Looks like there's going to be an impressive Phantom cull this weekend...


(unless, of course, PS3 data was included for the community goal before, and it was only the squad goal that was the problem, in which case, ignore what I just said...)

I'm confused. The first post states 6:00pm PST. At the time of this post, it was 6:00pm EST, so 3:00pm PST. Um? What?

Well I imagine the event is live thanks to the post from Chris as well as the fact that logging in to multiplayer grants the Operation: Exorcist Screen despite the disparity in the two times mentioned above.

In regards to your question Shiro, the way I remember all the previous events there is currently no way of confirming that you completed the objective (in this case the gold squad one) besides just knowing you did it yourself. I presume we'll receive our packs as usual on Tuesday if we complete one or both of the goals.

On the note of the squad objective, my understanding is you must get the 10 waves survived bonus (0 deaths through all 10 waves) + full extraction (with no deaths on wave 11) in order to complete it, would that be correct?

Good Lord NO! 

Not a perfect run to get the bonus, that'd be insane.  You, as in your squad, just has to get extracted (even lone survivor is fine).

 Heh heh, time for us to noob-spam the gold snobs.  

Noobs everywhere, equip a carnifex (no machine gun) and make sure your infiltrator packs only a sniper rifle (no side arm).    You'll look just like a pro.  

Objective is: Drive 1,000,000 Gold-Snobs insane before Monday.  
You will receive a Commendation Pack with your choice of an N7 Hurricane or +12,000 XP for a Human character of your choice.

I assume that if I saw the Operation: Exorcist flash screen and then completed a gold run I'm good for the Commendation pack, yes? Even though it wasn't 6pm PST? I really wish they'd work out a way for us to see if we earned the Individual challenge packs right after we do it, even if they don't award them right away.

Now to focus on levelling my other classes and killing Phantoms.
