First time i got a victory pack, is it normal that i got only blue item (medigel, missile etc), no weapon, no character, no rare, no gold ?

Has anyone gotten a commendation pack yet? Or is it just victory packs that are out now?

Thats normal it's the other pack that has all of the good stuff

As far as I can tell, the victory pack seems to be identical to a jumbo equipment pack.

I felt the same for a while and played mostly silver.  Recently I decided to stop promoting since I have a pretty good idea of the builds I like.  For the last few weeks I have been playing my level 20's (mostly Adept and Infiltrator) on Gold.  If you have a level 20, you have some awesome powers.  If you are new to the game it can take a little while to unlock and level up decent weapons. 

However that said, the main thing is you learn strategies like placement on a map, using cover, using powers in conjunction with others (i.e. biotic detonations, tech bursts).  At the end of the day you can still be a good player by being smart and the more powerful weapons will come with time/credits/unlocks.

Do what I did, get to level 20 on a class you like playing, and simply go play Gold.  The more you play the easier (generally) it becomes.  You'll find, like with most things, the more you do it the better you become, the easier it is. 

Believe in yourself and go have fun!!

I was at level 20 with a Asari vanguardbut it was still very very difficult . And my N7 rating is 194 (yes i know,very low)
so basically,i guess i need to get much better rating and play more & more. Like you said .

problem identified! don't use a vanguard on gold the enemies swarm too fast to play that aggressive.

also the Avenger X is your best friend!

this M-90 Indra is pretty meh but with equipment its decent.

Obviously we completed the challenge, so we all get Victory pack, on the other hand Commendation is for those who completed gold map challenge, so we have to wait for them.

When I play multiplayer the only people I can communicate with are on my friends list is this normal, sorry for my ignorance this is the first time I've played multiplayer. Thanks in advance for shedding light on this for me?

You may have your "voice communication" option set to "friends only"

You can change this at your profile options menu

is it right that my victory pack was just a recruit pack minus the character and weapon unlocks, or is that how its supposed to be?

just wondering being a PS3 user so this is my first one

 yah understand how it works - jus wondering why the ComPacks been delayed or rather wondering if I actually completed the challange (did a Gold on 1st day - got extracted - but pretty sure had to use a Mgel during a sticky bit of brawlin) so kinda curious now as the challenge says ''Squad Goal: Survive until extraction'' ...  AHdunno

got my victory pack today...but where's my commendation pack???, nothing like getting screwed by bioware again lol...my team and i didn't annihilate cerberus let alone like 30 phantoms with full extraction on gold for no reason, i want my damn commendation pack lol, second time this happened already

Come on guys, have some patience. Yu're not getting "screwed by Bioware," because you didn't get the commendation pack first thing in the morning. It takes time to process the thousands upon thousands of people who participated as well. Wait a few hours. Or wait a week like I did last time. What's your rush? ME3 isn't going anywhere, it's not as if you need the pack asap. Give the guys a break.

They added the Indra to MP? I don't see it in the manifest.

woot woot 7 medigel and 5 of everyting else 1,000,000 phantoms cost us more than that i used at least 15 this weekend and around 20 rockets hope my comm pack is good

Hey, at least you've gotten a victory pack - I finished several gold games with full and partial extraction (mainly because of nooby vanguards deciding that charging out of the LZ with 3 seconds to go is a smart idea), and did a load of Cerberus Phantom hunting and I've not gotten anything

Also a PS3 user

c'mon Bioware, my faith in you has only just started to re-appear, don't shoot it down now!
