360
owners, please stop yelling at PS3 owners because we purchased the
superior system. That's not an opinion, it's a fact. The PS3's hardware
is better than the 360's. You don't have to pay to play online and most
games come on one disc. Oh and Blu-Ray.
People who are saying
it's Sony's fault apparently have never seen BF3 because Battlelog can
track the data from the PS3 as well as from the 360 and Origin. So if
DICE can do it, why can't BioWare? I would like to enjoy the product I
paid $88 for, the same as everyone else.
Sorry, could you repeat that? I couldn't hear you over the sound of millions of credit card details being stolen.
There would be no issue if EA/Bioware/Sony INFORMED PS3 users prior to purchase that there would be no inclusion into ongoing multiplayer events or reward packs. Since PS3 users were sold ME3 on the premise that they were buying the same FUNCTIONAL experience as other platforms, they have sold the product under false pretenses. That's the issue.
Ok... I think you're being a little dramatic there. The multiplayer on PS3 does work, very well in fact. These are just little challenges that are bonuses Bioware added to the multiplayer. You have bought the same 'functional' experience as did everyone else, but you can't participate in these bonus challenges which were not announced prior to launch...

Hope the Commendation Pack has an N7 weapon again.
Hope it's an Eagle for me this time, though a Crusader would be nifty too...
You read my mind. Lock and load, folks, we've got some katana-wielding psychos to get some delicious revenge on!tMc Tallgeese wrote...

Time to move on until Summer I guess, really disappointed with you guys.
Wait so since PS3 was given bonus EXP a few weeks ago, why can't you just do that while we wait? It seems as if you'd rather not extend anything at all... Or even if let us get extra credits when we play every weekend or something...

We are the Vorcha of gamers to them; unworthy in every way possible. The effort it'd take to do ANYTHING for us is too much of a bother, as shown by their actions, or inactions rather.

It gives some insight into just what game developers have to deal with when it comes to Sony.

Yeah. PS3 owners should read this before pointing finges at BioWare when it comes to shortcomings in the multiplayer department for the PS3 players.
Many of Sony's business decisions puzzles me. I have no idea what they are playing at.

As someone mentioned, Sony may not agree with data EA wants PS3 players to transmit.
Anyway, I'm wondering what BW is playing at. PS3 STILL didn't get the Resurgence Pack due to some "technical issues".

That is most likely the cause (considering the tighter restrictions placed on the system in the area of security and privacy after the attacks last year), Sony most likely does agree with Bioware policy of collecting as much data as possible from players (some of this data actually can help with bug tracking and other developer side interests). Most of it isn't EA as a lot of the data corcerns power use, types of enemies killed, most used classes and other things along that lines (this is data Bioware would be more interested in than EA would). However Sony may see the datamining as an invasion of privacy and securit, so that info isn't allowed to be transmitted (info which they need to track event progress). So technically the blame can be placed on Sony just as much as Bioware or EA. The people who are filing complaints to the FTC don't realize that since Business politics is to blame the other side when TALKING TO THE MEDIA, I'm not surprised they are point the blame at each other.
As for Bioware not being open about what is causing the issue. It doesn't matter what the problem is, when dealing with problem that involves multiple companies, you don't tell the public what the problem is until AFTER it is fixed.
And as for the Resurgence Pack: somepart of it may not of passed Sony Certification (I'm assuming that Sony has the same process for putting content on their Store that Microsoft does for the Marketplace), which would delay as they would need to fix the offending piece of code/art/what have you and then resubmit it for Cert (which can be lengthy).
