PS3 users that have an issue with being left out of the Operation multiplayer events (like me) are frustrated because the same game was released on 3 consoles, and there was no consumer information to suggest PS3 wouldn't be supported on the same level as the 360 and PC.
It's not an issue of system specs. They released the game on PS3 and publicly stated that PS3 users will get the same experience as 360. This quote was hunted down by another member on the PS3 forums:
http://www.computera...e-says-bioware/
"BioWare marketing boss David Silverman told CVG: "This is the first time that all three
platforms have shipped at the same time and it will be an amazing
adventure whatever platform you play it on. I don't think you'll see a
difference between the Xbox version and the PS3 version. There's no drop
in quality on either."
This is CLEARLY not the case. If any of you go check out the PS3 forums, there are a lot of problems with the PS3 version, as well as the exclusion of the PS3 version from ongoing multiplayer events and rewards. Very little of which has been addressed. It should not have been the burden of the customer to use "common sense" to somehow realize that the PS3 version would not get support from Bioware/EA/Sony for ongoing community events. That is something that should have been told to consumers prior to point of sale so that we could take that into consideration with our purchase.
I did buy ME3 for the full game. For the full Mass Effect 3 experience. I'm not getting it, and I paid the same for my collector's edition copy as everyone else. It doesn't matter that the reward packs aren't game-breakingly awesome. It doesn't matter that the 1,000,000 phantom challenge will easily be completed without PS3 users. It doesn't matter that they are free additional content. It is free additional content that is only being granted to 2 out of 3 consoles "supporting" Mass Effect 3. The game was marketed as the same experience on all 3 consoles. That is not the case, and none of the companies involved are owning up to it. That's the issue.
Edit: minor spelling, and clarification.

You are completely and utterly WRONG. As Bioware has adressed before, Sony has not agreed to the terms of the weekly operation when it comes to giving the weekly operations to PS3 players. Don't say that none of the companies aren't owning up to it. Don't complain about it to Bioware. If you want results, talk to Sony. Besides, Bioware never announced weekly operations at the release of their game: IT WAS A SURPRISE, A GIFT.
Do your research next time before you make outlandish statements, it's embarrassing.

So what you're saying is that the day after the game came out EAware thought, hey wait a minute lets have events and promotions for MP?
No, they knew they were doing this prior to the release. They knew that Sony for whatever reason (yea they're a-holes) weren't being cooperative. But WE the consumers did not know that. All it would have taken was EAware to say, "Hey these a-holes aren't working with us, so PS3 users please note you will not have access to such and such." Then the consumer could have made an informed decision.
Both are to blame, and while the fault may lay more on Sony than EAware from a technical point of view, from the promotional and expectations aspect its all on EAware for not informing their customers, and in general ignoring a chunk of their community. Furthermore, if they simply went ahead and said hey PS3 users "FU." Then okay we see you guys are completely adapted to EA philosophy, but as they continue to string us along, why do they keep hiding behind "we're listening," "we're doing the illusive something." Tell us who is responsible, (not Sony, someone who said they could deliver and then f'ed up) and kick their asses out of their cushy position. Build some starkid-damned good will.

if you could tell me I would appreciate it... a lot....
ah, right. Thanks. yeah I'm on PC. That's something else they need to add (an in-game friend system)

Proof that Sony has not agreed to the terms of the weekly operation?
Proof that a company has owned up to responsibility for PS3's exclusion?
I contacted EA and they said post about it on Bioware's forums. That was 3 weeks ago. No change.
I contacted Sony and they gave no comment.
You're right. Bioware never announced weekly operations at the release of their game. It was a surprise. It was a gift. For 2 out of the 3 systems supporting the game. By your logic, you agree with me that there was no reason for customers to fear being left out of additional content because of choosing to buy their copy of ME3 for PS3.
I did my research, I've been trying to get movement on this issue from ALL 3 companies for 3 weeks now.
I'm not embarrassed. This issue matters to me, and to others.

What, just like Bioware is doing to PS3 players? Look at the PS3 tech forums and you'll be lucky to find a handful of responses from Bioware on ANY issue.

I've found reapers are really easy on gold if you have the following set up all lv20, and relatively good people playing them:
Asari Adept
Asari Justicar
Human Sentinel
Soldier / Infiltrator
Have the adept set up with warp to do as much damage as possible to armor
Have the justicar set up with reave
to do as much damage as possible to armor too and the sheild to do biotic explosion and more damage to target, then use it as a trap
Human sentinel set up with w
arp to do as much damage as possible to armor
Then just pummel things like brutes and banshees with biotic explosion, reave/throw, warp/reave or throw either work well. Then just use the soldier / infiltrator to kill all the spods. As for ravagers ive found just blowing apart the sacs on them while they are reaved more or less kills them.
And as far as weapons go, we can do it with the asair and sentinel with just avenger Xs with stability and barrel on. Let the soldier / infiltrator use whatever they want, obviously the infiltrator should use the valiant if they have it though.
If you do this right, take your time, and dont dick about you should be fine. I know this works as its what me and my friends do all the time for gold and we almost always get full extraction, if we dont we've usually not been paying attention to what we're doing XD

this is from somebody who went from silver to gold yesterday....
play against geth (they're the easiest) on firebase white. If you get a good team, they will run down into the lower area and take cover inside the main building there. Make sure to stay with them.
Play with what you are best at. Salarian engineers are particularely helpful on gold difficulty, but if you don't have that yet, try just a regular human soldier with maxed out fitness, grenades, (whatever the soldier class specialty is.... go with weapon weight) and concussive shot.
