In other words, you're aware the problem with the weekend challenges isn't because of BW but rather Sony's handling of PSN and developer/publisher promos, but screw it you're going to blame BW anyway.ChimDeathmonkey wrote...
You know if you were getting screwed over and over, you would be here "whining" away. If expecting a product, that was promised to be the same as other versions, makes me pathetic, well I guess I am. I am sorry I don't like wasting money on inferior products, only to get screwed over and over by the manufacturer. You non-PS3 owners can say that it is Sony's fault all day long, but it still comes down to BioWare releasing a subpar product. I find it VERY hard to believe that these issues with the PSN were not known during the QA testing phase. And if they were, then they sold a faulty product on purpose.
Brilliant strategy. That response was weeks ago. All our other posts are untoched because they don't care.
Or, just maybe, there've been no new developments upon which to report and they just don't feel like repeating themselves to each and every jackdaw that either lacks the intellectual curiosity to do background reading, feels entitled that they shouldn't do their background reading, or is so deep in denial that Sony's draconian business policies screw developers, publishers, and in the end their own consumers, to actually become aware of the situation before they begin spewing bile.
How do we know the problem is all on Sony? BioWare says so, so it must be true? Even if Sony is the evil empire as you describe them, all other games on the market can run similar events on multiple systems, with no issues. CoD, Battlefield 3, Red Dead Redemption.....all have had weekend events on multiple consoles, with no issues. So yes, I do put fault on BioWare for not doing THEIR research ahead of release and acknowledging there could possibly be a chance of the PS3 version being inferior.
You are the perfect example of an internet troll. It is documented we have an issue as a consumer base, yet you try to justify it somehow, when it can not be. And if you are not having issues, why are you even responding? Do you secretly work for BioWare or just their groupie?

Complete Gold, no problem.
Meanwhile, PS3 does very well streaming netflix and playing Blu-Ray movies. For multiplayer gaming support, you get what you pay for.

Overlord and my Mattock, no problem.

The only events from which PS3 players have been excluded are the bounty weekends -- the ones that require player feedback. It's also interesting to note the weekend events of the games you cite don't require that.ChimDeathmonkey wrote...

What event happened last year that caused Sony to heavily revise their PSN terms of service, their hardware's end user license agreements, and licensing agreements with developers? The one that happened after ME3 was already announced, had been licensed and was under development, for the PS3?
Are you seriously suggesting BW should have pulled development from the PS3 over a weekend multiplayer promo, and the lack of a subset of multiplayer promos BW/EA have no real obligation to execute, constitutes an inferior product?

Yes, if you ask the same price across the board it should have been noted that the PS3 edition would be limited on certain online events, it's called fair trade. This was not done as that would have meant losing money from sales, so instead they kept shut and sold untested and unsupported crap.

I am a bit confused. Does it mean:
a.) Get extraction on 1 map vs. any enemy or
b.) Get extraction on 3 enemy per map?
Thanks for help!

I'm pretty sure that the advertisement nor description of the game said anything about access to online weekend events. So you got what you paid for while the PC/Xbox version gets a bonus because they dont have Sony giving them problems.
You are not entitled to these events, none of us are.

No, but BioWare is on record stating the PS3 version will be the same as 360/PC. I would of much rather had the game on PC, however, almost all my friends play on PS3. After trying the multiplayer demo, and reading where BioWare said PS3 version will not be different, I went with the console version. If we had been told there was even a very slight chance the PS3 version would have issues, I would of still bought the game, but on a different platform.Grizzy wrote...

It is not the PS3 version that is different, it is the PSN that is different. That is something you need to wrap your head around and why complaining to BW is pointless.

And what you need to wrap your head around is that the issue with PSN should of been caught in QA testing. And if it was, and they still released game, they should be held responsible.Grizzy wrote...

If they came out and were honest, and even said before release "Hey guys, we have issues with Sony and the PSN being d-bags" I would back BioWare and buy the game on 360 or PC. It just seems VERY unrealistic that they had no clue UNTIL the events started. You honestly think they wrote the codes for packs, counts, and XP perks AFTER the game came out?

I would not be surprised if these events werent planned untill after the game came out considering how little effort has been put into them, however neither of us has any data on that to back it up.

You are correct. And the lack of any feedback is what is discouraging.Grizzy wrote...

I am sorry if I myself (not speaking for other PS3 owners) seem to be whining. I guess truly I am, for I just want to have the same experience as other owners of the game on different platforms. I don't think that is too much to ask.

yea this is a good idea, lets set the game to gold and fight a few waves of nothing but phantoms, yea no phantoms, banshee's, and geth primes are all over freaken powered 1 hit kills = bull$(*T its not even possible to tackle a challange like that even with the best players out there. if there were choke points on the maps I'd say ok just hold down a choke point but there aren't any, your always out flanked.
What is this one hit kill Prime you speak of?

It means get [1] extraction on [Any] Map of your choice with [Any] enemy selected.
If you get an extraction on FB White/Geth, you've completed the objective.
If you get an extraction on FB Hydra/Cerb. you've completed the objective.
etc...
etc...
No matter what enemy/Map combination you choose, if you make it to extraction and complete it, you complete the objective.

Dont have a headset and thats reason enough to get booted from 100% of all public games (none of my friends like to play ME3), so basicaly, the commendation pack is a nogo. Thx BioWare.
Do you play on 360? If so you can add me to your friends list. PM me if you see this and want my GT.
I don't care if you don't have a headset, as long as you can do you best to respond to call-outs from the team.
