Ha, played my first ever match on silver two days ago (first match = disaster, subsequent matches, not so bad). Guess I'll be making that jump to gold sooner than anticipated.

Same here, today I played my first gold match (surprisingly players didn't kick me out). I finished last, with a veeery low score compared to others players, but it wasn't so bad. I need to get better weapons.

I am ashamed of being a Fin after reading that comment. Only a "Rantaruotsalainen" complains about stuff that has an obvious fix.

3 simple tips to prevent you from having to say that shamefull word again

#1. chek the N7 score

#2. Chek the weapon level/weapon.

#3. Chek hes character level.

If say he has an N7 of 300 something, but trying gold with some basic weapons and on say... a lv 5 soldier. Should be a pretty obvious kick vote.

 But hey. who knows, maybe not everyone has common sense to chek those out.

It means get [1] extraction on [Any] Map of your choice with [Any] enemy selected.
If you get an extraction on FB White/Geth, you've completed the objective.
If you get an extraction on FB Hydra/Cerb. you've completed the objective.
etc...
etc...

No matter what enemy/Map combination you choose, if you make it to extraction and complete it, you complete the objective.

Phantoms...ew...just when you think you've got a handle on the situation, BANG insta death, no med-kit or player pick-ups.

Turian Sentinal this thing, will make it a lot easier, just be sure to get rid of the Tech Armor and power up both Warp and Overload. Also good against geth, Overload to stun groups and down shields, Warp to work on armor*, keep in mind fo those FBWGGs.

As frustrating as it must be for PS3 players to not have access to 'some' of the mp events, and I honestly can see why it sucks but I can't help but feel that a vocal few are acting like spoilt children about it.

Not once when purchasing ME3 for 360 did I assume that we would ever get these MP weekend events, nor was it ever advertised that we ever would. 
I'm pretty sure this would be a technical issue between BioWare and Sony, and hopefully will get resolved post-haste. I mean alternatively; BioWare intentionally have singled out PS3 users and decided not to give them access to these events just for the sake of being cruel, vindictive trolls.

What I'm personally annoyed at is the "if PS3 can't have access to MP events no one should!"? mentality that keeps reappearing on these forums, Sorry, but to me it just sounds a bit selfish.

Think about this carefully now...when does the actual extraction take place? That's right, the end of wave 11 when the clock runs out. There's nothing ambiguous about the details. Survive until you are extracted.

I don't even see what the big deal is anyway!?, if you can survive after wave 10, extraction isn't really all that hard. Just have a couple of teammates save some rockets to open up a clear path in the final 20-30 seconds and hit that LZ harder than Shepard hits Kalisah bin Sinan Al-Jilani.
