Cerberus is dead easy on gold anyway, if you have a vanguard or AA around.

Think about this carefully now...when does the actual extraction take place? That's right, the end of wave 11 when the clock runs out. There's nothing ambiguous about the details. Survive until you are extracted.

Then why would it say "Survive"? the last extraction event actually said to BE extracted. nothing about surviving the entire time.

I don't even see what the big deal is anyway!?, if you can survive after wave 10, extraction isn't really all that hard. Just have a couple of teammates save some rockets to open up a clear path in the final 20-30 seconds and hit that LZ harder than Shepard hits Kalisah bin Sinan Al-Jilani.

Thats the thing, is it simply get extracted? or SURVIVE 10 rounds? Thats what people are confused about.

To me, it make sense. Survive till round 11, NO deaths, no falling down, nothing. stay alive the entire time.

OK, I see the elevator doesn't reach the top floor in your case. One more time: Extraction. Extraction means the end of the full match. I think until you can comprehend things without the need for pictures you should refrain from calling other people dumb.

I'd like to say that Yajuu Omoi isn't the only one questioning the sentance "SURVIVE UNTIL extraction on any map and any enemy on Gold difficulty.", and I'm pretty damn sure he knowns how and when extraction takes place, that's not what he's questioning.

What he's saying is if you take the exact wording into consideration it sounds like we have earn the '10 Wave Survival' squad medal. Which only happens if all squad members don't go down during the whole match up until the end of wave 10... it has nothing to do with extraction.

EDIT: I'd like to point out that my bet is that we won't have to and it'll just be a simple extraction and that it's probably just bad wording on the promotion.

I'm guessing with the advent of medi-gels that you can survive. There's nothing that indicates you must do so without using consumables. Why this is being twisted into such a complicated mess is beyond me. Bioware may have been devious enough, this time, to make it a Gold run so there is that added challenge. I can't imagine with the scores of casual gamers that participate in these events that they would push the envelope that much further and require zero members of the squad to go down so they can get their pack.

Seriously, does this sound like something a sane event organizer would do when you have take into consideration the many different skill levels all players represent? Of course not. Here's what you need to succeed: "Extraction complete. Good job team."

Now go collect your pack and quit trying to make mountains out of mole hills.

Just to make sure I'm clear: I completely agree with you about the requirement and i’d be damned surprised if isn’t just a regular old fashioned extraction and it will not matter how many times a squad-mate goes down on their ass. As long as extraction happens everyone will go home a happy camper. But ~sigh~ it’s until and only until a BSN moderator can confirm it for everyone that all this will go away. Just wished the promoters had made it clear so we could be using the forum to talk strategies for the weekend and get some actual socializing in the B”S”N.

If I have it right, PST is currently UTC -7 because of daylight saving. And Uk is opn UTC +1 so 8 hours difference - 2AM
