Here we go again... Yes, you did survive by the good graces of medi-gel or a quick acting teammate that revives you. It prevents things like a little skull appearing on the screen after you all get downed on wave one because you suck. You use medi-gel and you survive. Or a teamie rezzed you and you survive. You were downed, not terminated. Not surviving involves: a total wipe where you failed (miserably) to reach the last wave and get extracted.

Also, if they were so asinine to suggest that one fall would make the match a wipe I would troll games so hard by performing my best impression of Leroy Jenkins on the first thing that came into view it would reduce their pack payout by at least 21%. Just finish a game on gold and get your pack so you can immediately start a new thread, amongst the 9000 other new threads, that the items suck and you are disappointed.

Ain't that how it works around here?

Does it really matter which time zone they list it in?  It doesn't change the start or end time.  I'm a "lazy American" who doesn't live in the Pacific Time Zone and even I don't mind the quick bit of math.

The phantoms don't have to be killed on Gold difficulty. You only need to get extracted on Gold once for the squad goal, then you can switch to bronze and start farming phantoms for the community goal. Why peopleare farming Geth I don't know but I hope this clears the phantom part up.

I'm glad I don't need to see any more complaints from PS3 user, it got old after the 2nd weekend, If the 1st community goal of 1 million brutes from the 1st operation is any indicator, 1 million phantoms with the PS3 players joining is going to be decimated.

If past behaviour is any indication, I imagine a whole lot of silence punctuated by the super-minority being gracious about it, and otherwise with ill-conceived demands that since PS3 users can obviously participate in challenges, they should get a free commendation (or at least a resurgencence/premium spectre) pack to compensate them from being necessarily excluded from Raptor and Goliath.

Which I think they should, it's only fair. I'm just not counting on many players to be polite or reasonable about it.

Dear Chris Priestly (or whoever decides those operations):
Could you consider, starting an operation earlier than 6pm PST? Because 6pm PST is 3am CET.
I know that there are at least some European players around, so could you not shift the beginning time a little bit forward? Like 12pm PST, which is 9pm CET.
It's really sad, that the operation starts in Europe on Saturday...

Yeah I'm really bummed about the late start time. If it started at 5pm Pacific, I'd have a chance to do 1 or 2 rounds before I couldn't play any more (I usually have to stop around 6). I wish operations would start on Thursday nights instead of Friday nights. I rarely have time to play anything on weekends as it is.
