agree, although, on bronze and silver snipers can easily headshot them while on gold you usually need help of others to take down the barrier

I'm with Lambent  Gear79 on this. Pleased to help lower N7's 'IF' they will participate in some sensible team strategy that the more experienced  players can share on microphone.

I'm so confused. By 'survive' on Gold, does that mean that we can't get KO'd or have our characters get killed during the match? Or does it just mean that we have to complete a Gold Match including Extraction?

Search for games with Enemy as Geth, Map as Firebase White and play a character with energy drain. I've beaten Gold with full extraction four times (that's over 12kk exp) that way in the past 2 days.

Are you PS3? There's no one with any good ranks here so far. Just new ppl and I've tried with them, but for a guy just starting gold I can't carry 3 new ppl that just started the game lol it's getting ridiculous out here.

*gun is on the table. He thinks long and hard, but in the end picks up the gun. The Infiltrator has his pistol firmly pressed hoping new squadmates enter before the horde comes in. Should I ?*

I'm on PS3, and I can garuntee that tactic he gave you works. (: 
It's just as easy as bronze if you have users who know what they're doing. 

If you wanted a bit of help I'd be happy to oblige.

1 Salarian Engineer + 1 Geth Engineer with healing turret/overload + 1 Infiltrator preferably quarian/salarian + Asari adept. Easy geth firebase white gold. If everyone is level 20 you should have no problem, if you can clear sliver.

I've probably killed a few hundred phantoms and helped at least a few gold noobs to a commendation pack by now.

Highlight of the day was killing 4 phantoms that just spawned at the same time with a combination of falcon shots, proxy mines and a resulting fire explosion

LV20 human soldier needs no help taking down phantoms with a sniper rifle. especially widow X.

Pop the first shot to body, enough damage to drop the barriers down enough for the +70% damage of adrenaline rush follow up shot that comes nearly instantly. to finish her with a headshot

Love my widow soldier build works wonders with claymore also.

I've done a 3 man gold run on fbw agaisnt geth I was lvl 20 but I had a lvl 4 and 6 on my team a human infiltrator and human adept. I played salarian engineer and we managed to do it with me only using a couple of rockets and medigel. As long as you camp that one spot no matter how low lvl you are it shouldn't be a problem. It might just take a while.

I just did this search w/a level 20 Turian Sentinel.  I can vouch for this.  After a couple of lobbies with level 6 Vanguards and the like (!) I was matched up with a level 20 Salarian Infiltrator & Engineer and another guy who already knew exactly what they were doing.  I spammed Overload interspersed with Disruptor shots, and got Gold first try.  (Thanks, whoever you guys were.)

No acknowledgement until Tuesday afternoon/evening when it shows up.  The commendation pack usually appears awhile after the victory packs.

Didn't I hear when they announced these would change to bi-weekly, that the Packs would be granted immediately after the challenge completed? I'm sure I remember reading that.

Phantoms are such BS. I had one facing a different direction, attacking something else (my combat drone), while doing a cartwheel, STILL hitting me with its palm-cannon that's nearly impossible to avoid or see coming and taking down my shields in one hit. How can a melee class, with stealth, that is nearly invulnerable, also have the best gun in the game? How can the best gun in the game be small enough to fit into a small girl's palm and have unlimited ammo? It just doesn't make sense. Not to mention they're smart enough to stand near fallen enemies and kill them as soon as they revive. And because they're nearly invulnerable to most things, it takes too long to kill them and THEN revive.


That aside, yeah I'm not gonna get the Gold Extraction. Probably hurts that the PC version has a non-working voice chat. So you can't rally the whole team to put on their best equipment. I also got team members that'd use their missile launchers on solo Atlases from time to time, or medi-gel when a comrade is right beside them. Meh... all-in-all, my teams all played pretty well. Even had a game with a guy who only have 12 levels starting out in one class, and he didn't do horribly. But it still wasn't enough. Got to wave 10 once. Wasted a lot of good equipment.
