Damage isn't everything. Exploding blades stagger enemies, and since the blades also staggers when you first shoot it you have an ability that staggers everyone around you twice! That gives you the opportunity to heavy melee, melee combo, or line up easy headshots on 2 enemies instead of just one.

ugg I was away for most of the weekend, I woke up at 7:30~ EST and got in a Gold Match within 5 minutes and we got full extraction.. at 8:02 EST. D:
I doubt I'll get the commendation pack... but *fingers crossed*

according to the OP it ended yesterday (29th), though if that's the case it's odd they haven't got the results up yet.

And he wrote that he completed it at 8:02 EST which is 5:02 PST.

Technically, you completed the event after it was over, but maybe they'll give you credit like they do in football if the time runs out half way through a play and you score.

ANY stagger is sufficient to knock someone from a banshee's grasp. The question that needs to be asked is does the banshee even get staggered from it.

In my experience a commendation pack tends to be like a veteran pack, a victory pack has a high chance of containing an N7 weapon or other rare/scarce items.

It's basically just the N7 weapon with two or so random items (usually equipment).

Commendation packs gives you a N7 weapon like the valiant, crusader, eagle or hurricane. Not sure what the victory packs give you besides consumables.

Other way around, Commendation has the N7 weapon and the Victory pack is essentially junk.

Commendation packs give you specific N7 Weapons that you can't get anywhere else, and were preorder/collector's edition bonuses in single player. Specifically, you can get the Hurricane, Valiant (awesome), Eagle, and Crusader

Pretty much the same.

It sucks I only had one lobby where the people were actually decent, just didn't have the build (team wise) and we couldn't get those objectives done in time.

Meh im sure the pack would have sucked anyway

Regarding geth/white, my experience is that most people are actually decent, or at least smart enough to know the tactics. They hold the line while the infiltrators go off to do the 4 point objectives, they cobra as appropriate, they hold the line at all times. Then we have those who swarm after the 4 pont objectives after the infiltrator... if they are capable enough we do fine, otherwise its a full wipe.
