PS3 players should count themselves lucky. At least they can play the game. I've spent almost two months trying to find a copy of ME3 for my Wii.

And large section? Good joke. Yout still have full access to multiplayer and singleplayer. You still have all the same DLC as everyone else.

The only thing you're missing is a (bi)weekly weekend event with inconsistant rewards (most of which typically aren't that great).

That is not a "large section" of the game by ANY stretch of the imagination.

Gold extraction. Seeing most of the guys on my friendslist stopped playing, I have to do it with random people in public games. I better stuff some rockets and medi-gel. Or maybe just do Geth on FB White ... for the first time.

Exactly.

It's funny, Bioware said they were trying to come to a 'compromise' but all they've done is say "You can't have X and it's Sony's fault" whereas an actual compromise would be "Okay you can't have X right now, but we'll try to give you Y or Z instead."

It's not even an advertised part of the game. At no point in time did they say during the games release that there would be multiplayer challenges. Which means, that people couldn't have logically gotten the game for the challenges. So they lost nothing.

It really does suck that PS3 players can't participate. But I also agree with posts like this.

Phantoms are any difficulty level.

This weekend is like the Brute weekend, just using Phantoms instead.

Oh nice sweet thank you, I only saw the any extraction will do posted by bioware, so I wasn't sure on specifics. I didn't have the online pass for hte brute weekend. =[

Biowares hands are tied when it comes to ps3 users. I think sony must be paranoid after the whole hacking fiasco.

I think its unfair to blame bioware after all if sony doesnt want this to happen then bioware cant force it.

Also im guessing that they cant compensate ps users because that would be similar to giving out the actual awards which sony wont allow.

1 Million Phantoms are a lot.

Try Reactor on Silver, I'm pretty sure there were a million Phantoms in a single wave on there once.

Hmm, I was kinda hoping for a more novel challenge, like a mixed spawn of Cerberus and reapers to get phantoms and banshees together. Still, Cerberus is as fun as any other I suppose.
