Since the packs are causing such grief, I'd prefer they do away with them and make the store truly a store. Consumables and weapon and character upgrades should be purchasable rather than random chance from a mystery box. Challenge rewards could be a redeemable token for either the value of the items that would have come in a pack or for classes of items (X number of consumables, Y uncommons, Z rares).

Someone along the way dropped the ball, BAD! i made a support ticket/question about not getting the packs(out of curiosity) and EA help says they added that to my registered content, take a gues if it actually shows up there

Here the situation is coming back to "normal": even if i've chosen the victory pack yesterday, now i can play multiplayer again. No commendation pack yet, but, nevermind, i have to go and play fgs! xD

They gave an update and locked the thread, if you scour the forums u'll find the info you need... and that is we have no idea when we are getting the packs and if you opened one already it seems like you're screwed (for now)

Man i wish i didn't have to waste hours of my day just to get all the info

On the other hand... don't do this.  Because searches don't provide a clear picture of a problem's status for several reasons:
1. People genearlly stop posting when they get their pack.  They certainly don't bother finding their own old whine threads and update them.
2. Some will post that they didn't get their pack when they were confused about whether they earned it.
3. Some will identify a problem and post and whine instead of actually pursuing Customer Service.

They are clearly still working on it.  See this thread from Jessica 2 hours ago:

What's the difference between waiting to do the operations and waiting to get the rewards?
Even if the Ops had no rewards at all it would be fun to contribute to them simply for the challenge we get out of ist.
It's not as if we had to pay anything extra so PS3 users could join.
Just be happy with what we get (no matter if we have to wait some time) and quit complaining

And i did qualify... I only play gold and killed a boat load of phantoms.

I just hope whenever they do dish out the packs that the expiration dates aren't crazy. I haven't gotten either yet and I go out of town Friday morning until Tuesday....so hopefully they'll get the packs out before Friday and/or give them a nice 160+ hour exp time.

No i could care less about not getting a pack or 2 or 3 or 4 I cant play MP, I have not been able to play since I opened my Vic pack. As soon as I did that I went to start a lobby and nothing eversince. That is what I am saying if every weekend challenge brings this kind of BS then the hell with the challenges.

I just want to chime in and thank BiowEAre for such a flawless service.
I mean, Steam has got nothing on Origin.
These weekends? So much fun and the rewards are great!
Free DLC? With two entire bug-less maps and much more?!

Amazing. I hope EA buys every other game company!
