They should have added an exception saying that winning FBW w/Geth is not valid. Because of this, the challenge is the easiest so far.

Gold, huh? I've never played a gold match before. Either I'm going to screw up a lot, or I'm going to get lucky and get put with a good team...or a team that knows how to do that Firebase White exploit I've read so much about.

For you guys who think this is too easy, consider helping and mentoring some of the newer players rather than kicking them right off or blaming them when the team loses. It will be more challenging for you this way. Constructive feedback like, "Hey I know you love that giant shotgun, but you could try out using a lighter gun for your adept." or "Hey everyone, lets not run to the extraction point right away because we might get swarmed." tends to be better than "UR BUILD SUX NEWB DUMBY."

Dear players eager to try out gold: Please try to listen to the more experienced players and try to stay with the group. They would appreciate it muchly if you didn't die way on the other side of the map. If you haven't done gold before, then consider tipping the scales in your favor as much as possible.. bring a level 20 character, consider using some ammo, weapon, or shield mods for a little extra help. Donate some cobra missiles to the cause.

I'm Eastern time.  Usually get started 10-11pm my time, and have certainly been known to stay on till 1-2am.  (Eternally trying to unlock the capricious Quarian Engineer. )

Hope to run into you this wkd.

started MP only 4-5 days ago, all bronze. level 60+ and only played 1engineer and 1 sentinel. but just did my first silver with random and succeed. and i was 2nd scorer . but dont think gold is for me yet.

No, it says any map, any enemy on gold for a commendation pack. Victory pack is for one million phantom kills.

not correct... please read the post
victory = phantom on any level....
commendation = any gold extraction

Just to be sure, it is still "at least one person extracts" and not "you must extract or you fail" right?

I am horrible in Gold and will never find a non-laggy match due to how matchmaking works.
