Oh Maker,it looks like overgrown nose-hair:O
Seriously, though - how is it possible that some mods feature better hairdos / facial hair than the vanilla games?
Come on,BW,there were improvements on the hair front in DA2 (IT MOVED,yesss), but you can do so much better.
But only if it does not leech resources from the really, really important game aspects. But again, modders did do better...[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]
Pls do not sacrifice important RPG elements on the altar of gorgeous hair:)

If anything, I like DA II hair better than the Barbie hair that fills the mod sites.
True.
I understand and appreciate the people who create Mods; it
is a lot of hard work and time. However, I have run across numerous hair Mods
that were idiotic and looked like something off a runway.
I noticed a trend too with Dragon Age 2, eyebrow and hair
color should not match. I feel so out of place with my character having black
hair and black eyebrows.

I usually end up going with the shorter hair styles and scruff.

True, some modded hairstyles are just too Barbie-like,especially for some hero on the road.Dhiro wrote...

But there are some really practical, yet feminine ones for ladies for example.I could not sync my DAO player profile,so I will just insert a pic of my warrior warden below. The hairstyle is not perfect, sure, but it looks practical...
My own is similar in real life,so it IS actually practical, and you can style it more feminine,if need be.

Seriously, why are they even worried about clipping? When you've got a mabari snout coming out of your character's hip bone every time you transition to a new area with your hound summoned and your party materializes after the Last Straw with Anders wearing Hawke like a backpack, what does it matter if the armor clips with hair just a little bit?
Oh Maker, the clipping outside of the hair and beard issue.
I have played many games but I have to say Dragon Age 2 has taken the “Oscar”
for clipping. Do they not understand collision coding?!
I could not go a single second in the game without my eyes
drawn to some horrible clipping issue. I understand the developers may not be able
to catch every single clipping issue, but the obvious ones make me scratch my
head.
One that sticks out in my head is when my female mage wears
the “Pirate Mage Robes” acquired in Act 2. They are not bad looking, but that pocket on
the thigh drives me insane. The first problem being because it is a stupid
place for it and two her hand always clips through it. I stop wearing it
because that clipping drove me insane.

With Western ones you either get the comicly overly muscle bound steroid super hero builds (cause apparently mages in dragon age can not only do blood magic, but bench press a qunari) or you get these horrificly over detailed human mockeries of blandness (hey, don't need every line in a persons face rendered~! especialy with bad light rendering) just look at the hands in any bioware game, they're nightmare fuel
You, sir, are my new friend.

Yea - beards clipped all over the place in Origins, so to me, hair clipping isn't a big deal.
