Not sure if this is the right forum to post in (if there was a modding forum, I'm sure that's were it would belong, but there isn't) and it's kind of an odd question, but I'm wondering if it's at all possible to extract 3D character models from the ME3 game, which could then be used in an 3D animation program? (3D Max, Lightwave, Poser, etc)
Sorta planning for a personal pet project involving ME3 and was checking to see just how feasibly that particular thing would be to do.

I only know that it's possible, since so many people simply port it into gmod and similar, but no idea how.

Hmmm, so it is possible (heard a bit about GMod, but not a whole lot), it's just a matter of how to do it, in what format the character models are in, and what programs can open them to animate with....
