Never had that phase. ME3 just sort of dropped off my radar a week after finishing it.

I have two other Shepards that I planned to take through the entire trilogy. Haven't started on either of them, mostly due to the face import bug, and I don't really have any motivation to replay the game anyway.

I'm weighing whether I should just sell my CE, or wait for the EC. The MP bug wore off a long time ago.

I was over it a few weeks after I finished the game. I just completed another play through of ME3 today....it was unpleasant.

Tried. Never made it off Earth. Then I moved to Amalur. Yeah, EA still gets my money, but how can I not give money to Curt Schilling? Bloody sock, people!

I am over that phase, the games are great. Although i am literally going to save and start a new game right before the ending, i refuse to see it again.

I was holding off until they got the face import issue fixed. Now that it is fixed I am playing my 2nd ME1/ME2 import through (my female Shep this time). ts nice to see the subtleties in dialog and other cutscenes to different choices you made. Plus having romanced different characters in each one.

People complained that no matter what you picked it just ended up as war assets. To be fair, Bioware has to bring the plot back to a point, so I think fans were unrealistic in this expectation (unless they wanted to play 100s of $$$ for a game instead).

I don't mind if the changes between choices from previous games are not huge. Games like this have always been about the slight detail changes or subleties. Heck, I played ME1 through 4 times just so I could pick different backgrounds for Shepard and to alternate between male/female and the different dialog was great (plus I needed an Insanity playthrough). Even got 1 different revolving mission depending on the history you choose. For example the addicted veteran in one history that your mother knew versus the woman trying to kill herself based on another background.

So I play for the subtle changes.

Different choices are great. Did I keep Wrex alive in ME1. Did I pick Ashley or Kaidan. Is Tali exiled from the Flotilla, did I save the Council, or hand over the Collector Base. Lots of choices I changed with each ME1 and ME2 playthrough, just to name a few.

I don't want to go so far as to say I'm going through a phase, but I've felt little if any real compulsion to play Mass Effect 3 since I finished my second run a few weeks ago. Mass Effect 3's ending has also kinda killed my desire to return to Mass Effect 2, but not Mass Effect 1 for some reason that I'm not quite sure of yet.

Nope! Played it once and that's that. Mass Effect 3 is kind of "meh" in my opinion
At least the other 2 games had their unique personalities. Star Trek & Firefly
By comparison ME 3 = Space Mutiny

Just finished replaying ME1 on the weekend, and really enjoyed myself. :) Started up ME2 today, so will get back to ME3 soon. Fingers crossed on the Extended Cut DLC...

Its not a phase this is who I am dad!

But seriously I've lost all interest in ME and am here just because I have nothing better to do.

I'm definitely playing ME1 and 2 again. ME3, however, has such a horrendous narrative arc that i don't think i can ever put myself through it again. I'm not a masochist.

Just finished watching the entirety of BSG in like 2 weeks. That's how you do a narrative that deals with a higher power and the differentiation between man and machine. ME3 just chucked that **** in their in the last 5 minutes, BSG worked towards it for 4 seasons.

I hate it when people compare the BSG ending to ME3. Sure, there were some unanswered questions, but it was completely in line with the series themes and made sense if you leave out the ambiguity of Kara. ME3 was just a ****ing mess.

Tangent much?

Well, I never had a "never playing ME again" phase... though it took about two weeks after seeing the "ending" for me to regain any interest in gaming, period, so...

If anything, it actually made me want to replay the first two - and I am. Started my main character over in ME1, just finished that yesterday, and I'm starting in on ME2 now (though that may be put on hold for a while if I get into Prototype 2). I might even replay ME3 once I get back to that point... I loved pretty much everything about the game, up until the ending punched me in the face. No way I'm going through that again. I'll play up to and through the Cerberus base mission, though - that still felt well done. After that, though, is all up to the EC.

That said, if the EC comes out before I get back to ME3, and it's awesome~, I'd quite likely actually be excited to play the game again. If it turns out to be as horrific a failure as I'm expecting, though... I might not even touch the game again at all. (And I certainly would not buy any future DLC! [Hint hint, EA.])

The ending never even came close to ruining the franchise for me. Played through ME3 twice, and I am on my third playthrough of the whole series. I'm now a few hours in to ME2.

i surely had it when i finished it. after a month i was able to start again with my renegade shepard, since i got my self a new pc and wanted to see how the HR textures files look. but i dint play far and havent touched it for few weeks now. is just no point in it when you know that it doesnt matter what you do, it will end the same way.
i dint even bother to install the first 2 ME games on my new pc. is just no point in it.

i just wait now till the DLC is out, in case its good enough to play it again.

Finished my 3rd playthrough and with nearly as much time spent on multiplayer, I'm ready to call time on it.

I will occasionally. I'm in the middle of a renegade Shepard, I just created her in Me3. Had almost everyone die.. shes gonna romance Kaidan.. and I'm not going to do any side missions.
I just want to test it and see if you really do have to rely on your EMS.

But I made her 2 weeks ago and haven't touched her so lululululuzz xD

I'm re-playing Oblivion tho, until I can find a good RPG game.

You didn't like Skyrim?  Granted the plot is lack-luster, but it's just stunning to look at.

Never had that phase although I was close. Image IPB A buddy of mine threw away all 3 copies of the ME series for his 360 so that should paint the picture right there for what phase he is in. Just glad he never took his disgust to youtube or here. That would have been embarrassing. Image IPB

I never went through that phase. I've replayed ME3 four times already and I'm done for now. I've tried playing it with my other Sheps but I can't go beyond Mars. I'm just waiting for EC and will probably go on one last playthrough before I uninstall it.

Never had it.  My disappointment with ME 3 came from the fact that I EXPECTED Shepard to die in ME 3 when I first heard that Shepard's Storyline would be 3 games long.

I didn't mind that "child" (I think it's an AI, personally) and never considered multiple endings (I had already decided that anything other than the absolute destruction of every reaper in the galaxy should not even be considered), and After ME 1, the Relays were expected to be lost (I even know why the Sol System survived, thanks to Mythbusters cooking with C4, a high-grade explosive).

Why was I disappointed?  Shepard was supposed to die, and I got the Easter Egg Cutscene.

Currently just finished the Collector Ship Trap in ME 2, with several changes (like Conrad) made.

It's kind of meaningless. You can never tell what EC can do before its release. If you are totally heartbreaking, please don't drag the guys who are not with you.
Well,to those who have this sense in their mind.
