Nope. Considering the Story is a major selling factor of a RPG, and Bioware royally screwed the pooch, I have motivation to do a new playthrough.

I tried...but then I realized nothing I do changes much of anything. I just cannot muster to replay it, just like I cannot muster to play any call of duty game more than once.

Which is funny, because before ME3 came out, I played ME1 and ME2 about 3 times a piece. (And no, I don't have the time to play it dozens of times like some of you other people do , otherwise I might have)

I miss the Reapers being the bad guys. How they look now.... :crying:
They used to be so bad ass!

I never had that feeling. I just can't have 10 minutes ruining 20+ hours game-play. That's totally irrational, for me anyway. And yeah, I do hate the ending, so don't call me a troll for liking it or something.

Never had the phase. I'm a realist.

I tried to.. but ME3 (ending and other problems) makes it seem pointless. I would go into further details but this is the no spoilers section.

I will say that I repeated the ending 3 times to see if there was a difference if that counts for anything.

I don't think I'll be playing the campaign until the Extended Edition comes out. There's just no incentive now.

It was decided for me, some reason, the game has ceased working on my 360, got tired of messing with it so I deleted it off my Xbox. ( Shrugs) Could never get a clear answer.

Quite the contrary. I tried to start my 2nd playthrough in ME3, imported my infiltrator and got past mars and the moon of palavan. Haven't played the game since. I just can't do it.

I won't play Mass Effect again until BioWare fixes the endings and I can find a mod to give me 100% GR without playing multiplayer.

Never had that phase, I believe people take this game too seriously to get into a phase like that. The game is great, yes the ending isn't hwta I expected but it didn't ruin my experince at all. It's funny to see some people complain about how bleak and dark the game was...what the heck did you expect? It's armaggedon.Anyways I take what people post here with a grain of salt, if I remember correctly these forums have always been about whining and complaining...I had forgotten about how nasty they got during ME2.Some people who trashed ME2 are now saying it's the best...so...no that phase is a bit "drama" queen for me.

You can edit the files to mess with the EMS so its a ridiculously huge number and makes the galactic readiness pointless. Just don't edit anything that affects multiplayer content, that will most likely get you banned

I played the Multiplayer of ME3 and the DLC content of ME2 since finishing ME3. I was thinking of playing a second playthrough of ME3 but I kept skipping it because "Eh, cba, might as well wait until they release the free DLC and see what it's all about".

That's not a bad idea either, but I'd still like to have some incentive to do the side missions and fetch quests no matter how boring those actually are. Still, if tweaking the EMS means I don't have to play multiplayer, I'm all for it.

No point in doing it now of course since the 'best' ending is still incredibly crappy:pinched:

After wiping a thick layer of dust (no kidding) off my CE, I started a NG+ with my main. I'm just past Sur'Kesh, and I'm currently bogged down in fetch quests to see if I can get my EMS up without MP (I decided to boycott it a few weeks ago because I don't believe 4 hours of MP should equal as many EMS points as 180 hours of SP). I didn't realize how MANY there were, it's ridiculous...I'm spending more time doing this than I ever did with planet scanning in ME2.

I eventually ragequit (not so much rage as it was a severe eye-roll as I got up to turn off the Xbox) after my fifth glitch in under 10 hours of gameplay. I then booted up ME2, and ragequit in the middle of that when I realized my renegade Shep wouldn't have any different of an outcome than my paragon mainShep. What's the point of creating multiple Shepards when the end options are the same no matter what you do?

I'm also not a fan of the Crucible. I remember thinking before ME3 came out, "If they do a Reaper superweapon/supervirus, I'm going to be SORELY disappointed." Welp...after Mars, I was already disappointed with the game. Even more so when I learned that in early versions of the script, the Crucible was actually a genius Reaper trap. *SIGH* Just disappointment all-around. Eventually, I'll get over it. But now? Yeah...no. Not in the near future.

As i wrote in another thread:
I motivated myself to play through ME 1 recetnly. And i'm still in awe of how great ME 1 was. Also kind of sad about how the series degenerated from ME 1 to Me 3 (not that i didnt like that game too, except for the ending of course).

So hell yeah, play ME 1 folks :)

Quite the opposite... Immediately after I was ok with replaying it and hanging around while waitting to see if Bioware had a fix in mind. Now I'm like "meh" and moved on; even if they patch ME3 I dunno if I'll be all that bothered to come back and see what they changed.

The damage has already been done to the story for me and now all that's left is a lacklustre Gears clone.

It is sad that this is actually a thing. I look at these post and all I can see is weakness.

It's like the first time I tried to watch the Original Series after watching Star Trek 2009. Lol.

I dunno, it just takes so much time and care to play these games. When it all seems pointless in the end, it really hangs over the other games like an ominous black cloud.

It would be a waste to let the great ME 1 go down like this though :(

Stopped playing it.... Multiplayer isnt appealing and the ending with its current plot holes and lack of your decisions through 150+ hours of gameplay are swept under a rug in less than 5 mins. I loss the want to play it again.

I had 4 or 5 different shepards ... now no need to play them, they are all gonna get the same ending... dont need to see the famous 16 different endings (cough... 3 ending.... cough)   can anyone say "RGB"
