Nope. Never finished purchased copy, and likely never will unless the endings are in fact changed and not "clarified". MP keeps ME3 installed on my system, when MP dies, Origin will be leaving my PC, most likely permanently.

I am going through with my female Shepard. There is so much to love about the game, but I am reluctant to just give them that it's now OK as it is. Its crossed over many years and been many hours of play. That ending is a real sour spot, always will be.

I was admiring some of the alternate suits Tali got. The CE version I think gave me a few more. As I was doing this I was imagining how much work and thought went into such a thing...just some graphics. It had to be tons of time and that wasn't even about the ending to the whole series. Just imagine if the series of questions and choices were in line with something in comparison as small as this. The ending would have killed everything out there. Still just doesn't make sense.

People will move on. This game will be in the discount bin eventually. Something come later maybe borrowing some of what worked so well in this game. In part I wish it never ended with ME3. Yeah there might be a ME4 put I fear it will be a shooter or something like that. Even if not, we lose some great characters we got to know over the years..... I stomach the ending and play through from time to time, There are several love interest angles and some "bad" Shepard s I can kick around for fun. Maybe they get something right with the extended cut. maybe there's a surprise with one of the future downloads...I can only hope

Playing the Witcher 2 also BTW. Pretty good game

I did a second playthrough because on my first, I played SP only and could not get the required EMS for the "Shepard breathes" scene. So did a second run over 3 weeks integrating MP. I'll stop there, unless the EC fixes the ending, as the current ending just hovers over the whole experience. I had 8 ME1/ME2 Sheps ready for import, but I'm just not tempted to go through that ending a third time, let alone six.

Like you, I'm on my second playthrough, play it sometimes every few days. Because some squadmates were dead in my ME2-3 (first ME3) playthrough and I wanted to know Javik.

Except that, ME3 has no replayability value.

I never entered that phase, because I'm a somewhat rational person as it would appear. ME3 was a major disappointment, but it is still a decent game. It'd be stupid to quit playing a series just because ME3 wasn't everything you wanted it to be.

I avoided ME3 so i can still quite happily enjoy ME1 + ME2 without wanting to swan dive off a building.

I love ME too much to ruin it for myself by putting myself through the misery of the ME3.

Yeah, me. Replaying 3, maybe I'll play the whole trilogy after that.

I actually finished my second ME3 playthrough this past weekend.

Did an insanity run to grab the last few cheevos I needed.

The ending is actually even worse when you know its coming, and it really spoils everything that happens in the game up to that point. Cure the genophage? Doesn't matter. Unite the Quarians and Geth? Doesn't matter. Beef up Citadel security? Too bad, they're ground up into Reaper fuel regardless.

And I'm not talking about how BioWare is suddenly dropping hints that we "interpreted" the end of the game incorrectly. I'm talking about how MASS EFFECT 3's ending is so stupid, so sudden and vague that we NEVER see our impact on these places.

The epic conclusion to Commander Shepard's story ends with your coward crew sitting on some crappy jungle planet after Shep got handed three crappy choices from a spacebaby.

Ending still sucks; it badly damages the whole game, and the previous installments as well.

CRITICAL MISSION FAILURE, BIOWARE.

No, I uninstalled ME1 and ME2 after seeing the ending, since the first 2 games are completely meaningless now, once the "extanded cut" comes out, I will load the game near the end to see it, and after that I will uninstall ME3 and be done with Mass Effect for good. Good job Bioware!

I still haven't completed the game yet so I guess it didn't apply to me.  I am curious as to what BW has planned for the Extended Cut DLC though; I hope it's good.

Still more drama, still more weak people in this thread. Looking forward to whether the des will stick to their current plan for extended cut or if they really do end up changing the endings. Still early enough in preproduction for them to do so, will probably not tell fandom about change of plans till after extended cut is out.

 Never had that feeling.

Played through three times (twice with my canon save, then barreled through the whole shebang again from ME1 for the third),and then I "started" a fourth new game+ and have it ready for the extended cut.  All I felt/feel in regards to the whole debacle is curiosity, some frustration over the frayed-around-the-edges cohesiveness to the deeper parts of the lore, and overall enjoyment in experiencing the characters, the settings, and yeah, the mental gymnastics involved in "getting" the ending.  I liked where the big choices took my thought-processes, even if it leaves a few glaring gaps in logic. Could be more refined, sure, but I definitely don't see the conclusion as some "abortion" or "turd" to avoid.

Still a very solid, exhilarating game; it's on the bottom of the totem pole in comparison to the other entries for several reasons, there's no doubting that, but there's a fair amount of cinematic and gameplay polish in it that also makes its core advances noteworthy. I've had a great time (including the multiplayer, a big surprise since I don't game online -- at all), and it's unquestionably been worth the day-one price of admission.

^_^

I can't really say that i"m never playing it again, but at this point due to the ending I con't have any desire to do so. I have no interest in the ME universe, in MP or even in Kaidan. Its sad, but true.

Couldn't get over the face import bug, and the lack of roleplaying options, and all of the auto dialogue. I haven't beaten ME3, and probably won't have the motivation to do so any time soon, with or without a dissatisfying ending.

I wasn't crazy about the plot of ME2, but I loved my Shepard. Now I feel like the Shepard I play in ME3 isn't my character at all. No point in continuing to force myself to play a game I don't enjoy.

I always treated ME more as SCi-Fi movie than true RPG game, for that I have Witcher 2.
So I am still playing it, both single and multi.

I intended to replay all 3, immediately after I played 3.

I only finished 1. Now I am on Freedom's progress and cant keem myself to continue because, with ME1 fresh in my memory, I cannot stomach the horrible gameplay of 2.

I'm close to being over it and planning a playthrough of all the games chronologically starting in June, to end ME3 with the EC at no delay. I somehow accepted the ending and just hope for a resolution that allows me to finish the games with a victory and a happy ending. With Tali. That became most important for me.
