Anyone who says it is a bad game because of the ending, is ridiculous. The gameplay and the story are very good and if you really didn't like the ending you could still replay it but just untill the last mission. I am fine with the ending as it is, although some more explanation would be very welcome. The only thing that did bug me in the entire game, were the things that weren't in the game. (characters being killed of screen, not explaining certain things I've always wanted to know, ...)

I've never been in that phase, I think that people who ever where in that fase are/were a little bit overreacting, because lets finally face it.... It's just a GAME, it doesn't and more importantly shouldn't matter in your real life.

/offtopic. You don't get it. Mass Effect is more than a game for some people. Its an idea. And you can't kill ideas so easily...
It changed people in real life. Touched them emotianlly. Gave them hope. Gave them reasons to laugh and to cry. It gave us a hero, an idol that says: go and do it!
Its not just a game without connection to real life like CoD where you laugh and say: Hah, thats pretty cool, but very unrealistic. And you play it and go get the next one.

With that said, however, I completely understand those who had a phase like this, or are going through theirs now. And the people who are saying that those people are being childish are nothing short of self righteous. Yes, you don't share their opinion, good for you, here's a cookie. That doesn't mean you're right.

The ending doesn't factor into any sort of "acceptance" of ME3.
And as we've seen, plenty of the people who replay simply stop before the ending, and even if they find joy in the game/s again, the lingering dissapointment of the ending wont just go away.

Nothing you do in the game actually matters, since its all the same at the end. There is no going though it another time for me.. Its all the same. Ooo pretty explosions~
Nothing you do in the game actually matters, because it's a VIDEO GAME! No matter how good the ending could've been, it wouldn't have brought global or cure world hunger. It wouldn't have even get you a promotion at work or a hot girlfriend. Every time you start any game, you do this while knowing that it's a complete waste of your time. You do it simply because you want to be entertained, and if you weren't... Tough luck. Nobody put a gun to your head and forced you to play the game.

ME3 burned me on video games in general. Hope it doesn't last long. But, no, I haven't touched ME3 since beating it (save for about 2 MP sessions just to try it out, fun but not for me) and I don't plan on it anytime soon.

I just feel too fed up that the ending is changed by nothing and is so bleak. What's the point of romancing someone like Liara in all 3 games if you just go off and die with nothing left?

Also MP is so repetitive and as it really doesn't add much overall so why bother.

However I don't think I'll ever get past the "Never buying another product or believing another thing that comes out of Bioware" phase.
Pretty sure that one's permanent, unless the extended cut comes out and indoctrination theory or something equally mind blowingly awesome comes out and makes up for the multitude of failures and utter let downs of ME3.

The ending is bad, but what makes it ruin Mass Effect is the lack of conclusion and results from our choices. If they fix that, then I'm starting my full run of the series right after I properly finish off my ReneShep's career.
