Just after beating Mass Effect 1 (ME1), I accidentally uninstalled it along with all the save files on my computer (DUMB!). Fortunatley, I played it through Origin, so everything should be backed up on the cloud. I'm looking for a way to access those save files for ME2.

Simply re-installing ME1 is proving difficult. This could be because I uninstalled it through Windows instead of Origin. Whenever I try to press the 'ready to install' button on Origin's window, it just says 'installing' for a few seconds, then reverts to saying 'ready to install'


So here's what I'm asking: how can I access my cloud storage data?
If I can't access my data without re-installing ME1, how do I install it?

BTW, I already power cycled
